Miss Winifred Fowl (voice)
Cynthia Aurora "Cindy" Vortex (voice)
Liberty Danielle "Libby" Folfax (voice)/Ike
Carlton Ulysses Wheezer (voice)/Principal Willoughby
Sheen is afraid of the crawl space under his Grandma's house.
Apparently, Sheen's average grade is C+, mentioned when Sheen said, "I'd be an inspiration to C+ students everywhere!" in "Jimmy for President."
The dollar bill that Cindy slips Carl says "DNA Productions Inc." (the company that produces Jimmy Neutron) instead of "The United States of America."
Hugh practices Tai Chi.
Hugh was elected Towel Boy in Junior High School.
Carl had a pet turtle named Snappy, but he was allergic to the turtle, so he released it.
After Snappy is fed with the demutation pellet, Captain Betty returns. But, along with Captain Betty, the monster also ate Sheen's pants, and they did not come back.
At the beginning of "Monster Hunt," the monster breaks the boat Sam and Miss Fowl were using, but in the picture that Cindy and Libby show the town, Miss Fowl and Sam were on top of the boat when they were rescued.
Sheen: Everyone has something they're afraid of, Carl. For me, it's the crawl space under my grandma's house. For you, it's a stupid lake!
Jimmy: Fellow students, I'm not going to promise you flashy clothes or polyrhythmic music or (chuckles) guacamole bars.
Sheen: That's cause you don't know the secret ingredient! (looks at Libby flirtatiously) It's love.... (makes kissing motion)
(Libby scoots her chair away from him)
Sheen: Don't worry, Libby. Even if you lose today, you can still be my First Lady!
Libby: Get a life, Sheen. (pushes him off the bench)
Cindy: And just to make sure we understand each other.... (shakes Carl's hand)
Carl: Um, Cindy? You accidentally left a dollar in my hand.
Cindy: (winks) Keep it.
Cindy: (chuckles) I think you know why.
Carl: I-I-I don't. Why're you winking at me? Why did you give me a dollar? My brain hurts!
Cindy: I'm paying you to vote for Libby!
Carl: Oh, I get it. I will. But why did you wink? Do you like me? (giggles)
(Cindy sighs exasperatedly)
Sheen: My fellow Lindberghians! If elected President, I shall install guacamole bars in all classrooms! And UltraLord tattoos (while banging on podium) will be mandatory!!
Captain Betty: Eyes black as pitch, like a doll's eyes!
Sheen: They prefer to be called "action figures."
Jimmy: Mister Mayor, this lake monster is nothing more than an anecdotal confabulation!
Mayor: That sounds serious!
Hugh: I was elected Towel Boy is Junior High! My motto was, "Vote for Hugh. If you can't trust him with your dirty, smelly, wet laundry towels, who can you trust?" It was hard to fit all that on the little buttons, but I did it!
Carl: Stop the world, I wanna get off!!
Miss Fowl: Class, it's that most special time of year again!
Sheen: Summer vacation! (gets out of his seat) So Long Suckers! (runs toward the door and slams into it, falling to the ground)
Miss Fowl: Sheen, must you do that every week?!
Sheen: You're voting for Libby?!? What is wrong with you?!? You can't vote for her!!
Carl: Why not?
Sheen: I'll give you three reasons. One, she's a female, two, she's not a boy, and three and most importantly, she's a girl!!!
Jimmy For President Jimmy's Song
The song sung right after Jimmy gets out of his zeppelin is a parody of a song in Citizen Kane.
At the very end of Jimmy for President, the song Bolbi is dancing to is a slight variation of Funkytown. Funkytown was originally recorded be Lips Inc. and spent several weeks at the number 1 spot in 1980.
Monster Hunt: Plot
"Monster Hunt" is a parody of the movie Jaws.
Retroville Mayor: Appearance
Retroville's mayor looks like Clark Gable.
Cindy and Libby: Fight the power!
Cindy and Libby yell, "Fight the Power", to Carl as they leave his home. This references the 1989 movie, "Do the Right Thing" , whose theme song was, "Fight the Power" by Public Enemy.
Sheen: Principal Willoughby, tear down your walls!
This parodies the famous Cold War quote "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!", which refers to the Berlin Wall. It was said by President Reagan.
Captain Betty: (bashing Jimmy's equipment to bits)
This is like what happened in the movie/novel Jaws. When Chief Brody tried to call in for help as they were being attacked by the shark when they were on the ship, Quint smashed the radio with a bat. Captain Betty did the same with Jimmy's technology.
Captain Betty, Sheen, Jimmy, Carl: (singing) Farewell and adieu, all you cankled young ladies, farewell and adieu, though my song is quite lame, for we've recieved orders to sail to Pacoima, and then nevermore will we eat cheese again!
This song is a parody of "Ladies of Spain," the song Quint is always singing in Jaws.
Blackboard: Various Misspellings of Bolbi's Name
In one attempt to spell Bolbi's name, Miss Fowl wrote 'Bilbo,' which is the name of main character Bilbo Baggins from J.R.R. Tolkien's novel The Hobbit. The Hobbit is the prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Carl: (aiming pea shooter at Snappy) Smile, you son of a sea turtle!
This quote is taken from Jaws, when Chief Brody is about to shoot the shark.
Captain Betty: Gadgets go in the water, you go in with the gadgets, monster in the water, our monster.
This is from The Master of Disguise, when Pistachio was dressed as a sea captain in a lake. However, the original line was in Jaws: Quint said it, except that "gadgets" was "cage" and "monster" was "shark."
Carl: Stop the world, I wanna get off!
This is a reference to the Broadway musical Stop the World: I Want to Get Off.
Scene: Monster Hunt opening
At the beginning of "Monster Hunt," Miss Fowl and Sam are out at sea when an enormous reptilian hand smashes down on them. This is exactly what happened at the beginning of the B-movie horror classic The Giant Gila Monster.
Sheen: Atomic batteries to power!
In Batman, Robin would say this before the Batmobile started up.
Sheen: Uh, Jimmy? We're gonna need a bigger boat....
This line is said when Sheen first sees the monster, and it is a direct line from the movie Jaws when the shark is first seen.
Principal Willoughby: It's just like Barbra Streisand and Katharine Hepburn at the '68 Oscars!
At the 1968 Oscars, there was a tie for Best Actress between Katharine Hepburn for The Lion in Winter and Barbra Streisand for Funny Girl.
