At the beginning, when Hugh uses the Quantum Replay on Cindy and Libby, Sheen and Carl can be seen laughing over and over. Even after Hugh stops using it.
At some point in the episode, Carl, Jimmy, and the leptictidium find a cluster of diamonds. But somehow, the diamonds are already cut. Raw diamonds would have more irregular shapes, so how could the raw diamonds they find be cut?
When Hugh enters the kitchen, Judy is on the floor after she spilled the berries, so Hugh uses the Quantum Replay to clean them up. When Judy is standing again, the berries stop at the rim of the cup. But a few shots later, the berries pile over the rim.
At the end of the episode, Jimmy lures a T-rex into shattering a diamond, which causes it to explode into pieces. However, immediately afterwards, the diamond is in perfect condition.
When Jimmy, Carl, and Sheen are sent to the past, in the background, you can see the same type of Spinach plant Jimmy transformed Ms. Fowl with in the episode "Substitute Creature."
Jimmy, Carl, and Sheen must have landed in Europe, because the leptictidium's ranges were in the Europe area.
Libby has her new look in this episode, too, even though it is no introduced until "Beach Party Mummy."
In "Hypno Birthday To You" Jimmy claims that he cannot afford a new chemistry set. How did he afford the diamond needed to power the original Quantum Replay? However, who said he used one in the first place? It's never stated.
When the T-Rex comes out from the trees, you can see Jimmy and Sheen screaming, but you cannot hear them.
The invention was introduced twice. The invention was used in "Party at Neutrons" as a time accelerator.
At the beginning of the show, Jimmy tells his dad that the QR 9000 only works at the objects you point it at. Later, when Hugh is in parachute class, he points it forward and still flies up.
The plane obviously continues moving forward after Hugh jumps from it. When he flies back up, however, the plane is right above him.
When Hugh zaps Jimmy, Sheen, and Carl to the age of the dinos, Sheen can be seen wearing a hat and a cape, as well as holding a cane. But when they arrive at the jungle, he's back to normal.
When Jimmy, Sheen and Carl were sent back 200 million years, they said they were in the Late Cretaceous Period. However, the Cretaceous Period lasted between 142 and 65 million years ago. They were really sent to Late Triassic Period.
When Jimmy, Sheen and Carl were sent back 200 million years, they met a leptictidium. However, the leptictidium only lived from 50-40 million years ago.
When Jimmy is holding the Quantum Replay at his side, right before he says "Just a few more seconds," the piece of diamond is not there.
(T-Rex is closing in on Carl)
Sheen: Don't move Carl. It can't see you if you don't move.
Jimmy: Sheen, that theory's been discredited.
Sheen: Oh... RUN CARL! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
Sheen: Most dinosaurs think kids taste like chicken! But it's more of a pasty livery flavor. Trust me, you'll hate it!
Sam: He disgusted all my customers, yeah!
Libby: (to Mrs. Neutron, about Hugh): He gave us brain freeze!
Woman in Crowd: He made me experience the miracle of birth again and again and again! (starts sobbing)
Sam: Yeah, uh, birth.
Jimmy: We're stuck in the late Crutacious era!
(The trio hear a loud roar)
Carl: Jimmy, do they have mommies to make it go away in the late Crutacious era?
(sniffs banana)
Sheen: Ahhhhh.... I love the smell of banana in the morning.
Jimmy: I'll need a few ounces of pure diamond.
Carl: But Jimmy, jewelery stores won't be invented for several years.
Hugh: (Drinks Purple Flurp over and over)
Sam: Sweet mercy. (Faints)
Sheen: With our "stuperior" human intellect, we can easily outwit anything we run into!
(T-Rex roars)
Sheen: (cowering behind Jimmy) Go ahead, Jimmy - outwit him.
Instructor: For the love of Mike, mister, when you signed up for parachute school, I assumed you'd use a parachute!
Hugh: Parachute? I don't need no stinking parachute! I'm Hugh Neutron, master of time and space!
Sheen: I feel sick and disorientated. Can we do that again?!
Sheen: (as the Pterodactyl carries him away) Jimmy, help! I'm afraid of heights! Oh, yeah, and I'm also afraid of Puh-terodactyls!
Sheen: (juggling dinosaur eggs) How do you like your eggs? Poached or smiley-faced? (drops one) Or scrambled...?
Jimmy: He sent us back two hundred million years!
Sheen: What did you say?
Jimmy: He sent us back two hundred million years!
Sheen: Oh, that's what I thought you said.
Hugh: I'm the first dad on the block to have control over time and space!
Title: The title Sorry, Wrong Era is a reference to the film Sorry, Wrong Number.
Sorry, Wrong Era: Plot
This episode has many similarities to Jurassic Park.
Quantum Replay 9000: Concept
Jimmy's Quantum Replay 9000 is silimar to The Fairly OddParents' re-do watch in "Deja Vu."
Carl, Sheen, and Jimmy: (sliding down a dinosaur's tail) Yabba-Dabba-Doo!
That was a reference to the Flinstones, as well as the running sound effects heard when they run from the dinosaur.
Sheen: Don't move, Carl! He can't see you if you don't move!
This line was from Jurassic Park.
Hugh: Parachute? I don't need no stinking parachute!
This is from the famous line "Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges!", which comes from the movie The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
Sheen: I love the smell of bananas in the morning!
"I love the smell of napalm in the morning" was a famous line of Robert Duvall's character Bill Kilgore in the 1979 movie Apocalypse Now.
Title Screen: "Sorry, Wrong Era"
The letters of the title screen look like the lettering of Jurassic Park.
