This is the last episode where Jimmy's classroom's background is yellow.
It's the only time in the series that Sheen's mom is mentioned.
In this episode, Carl says that his Uncle's from Texas, when all of them are from Texas. (Retroville takes place in Texas.)
The theme song for Jimmy Neutron was written and performed by the popular band Bowling for Soup.
In this episode, we learn that Jimmy uses either hairspray or mousse on his hair to make it stand up the way it does - there is a yellow can of it on the mirror/desk with a silhouette of his head on it.
We learn Jimmy is right 89.23% of the time.
James Isaac Neutron is Jimmy's full name.
Jimmy's dad's full name is Hugh Beaumont Neutron.
From here on, Jimmy wears blue jeans, and Cindy wears a green tank top and khaki pants. Also, Carl has no suspenders.
We learn that Sheen has a cat in this episode
At school, right before Jimmy arrives with his jetpack, we see Carl with 2 socks stuck to his shirt. When Cindy says "No, I'd rather eat a snail", we see that the socks on Carl's shirt have disappeared. When the jetpack crashes to the ground, the socks appear again.
Carl starts singing "Folding and Hanging" with the hanger in his hand and walks out of the room with nothing.
Carl falls in a tree by a window by the door of Jimmy's bedroom. Later, the tree is gone, but Carl is still hanging from something.
During Jimmy's Brain Blast in this episode, it shows Sheen touching Carl and getting zapped with static electricity. But how could Jimmy remember that, since he wasn't there at the time it happened?
There is a sign on Jimmy's door saying "Keep Out" but it is gone later.
Cindy: (angry) Neutron, I want my pants back, now, or I'm going to sue you!
Carl: You know Jimmy does some pretty amazing things!
Cindy: (ironic) Please! I could be just as amazing if my head was the size of Texas!
Carl: My uncle's from Texas!
(about the House of Blue Pants)
Carl: It used to be called the House of Blue Lederhosen but of course that appeals to a very small market.
Judy: Hugh, we're going downtown.
Hugh: To get pie!?
Judy: To get our son! And put on your pants.
Hugh: Can do.
Cindy (being controlled by pants): As soon as I stop limboing I'm kicking your butt! (bends back, walks forward and limbos under a poll) Whoo! I made it!
Sheen: Uh-oh! I left some gum in my pocket, is it evil? If I chew it will I become evil? IF I BLOW A BUBBLE WILL IT BE AN EVIL BUBBLE?!
Jimmy: We could end up living in...
Sheen: London?
Carl: France?
Jimmy: A world ruled by pants!
Hugh: So, you and your little pantsy-wantsy friends thought you could take over the world, huh? Well, you didn't know you'd have to deal with Hugh Neutron, did you?! So talk! Haha, you can't talk, can you! You know why? Because you're pants! So zip it!
Hugh: Howdy, neighbors! Hey, I got two words for ya: "No pants!" It's the fabulous fashion sensation that's sweepin' the nation, so gather round and pull 'em down!
(Mr. & Mrs. Vortex run away screaming)
Cindy: I see London, I see France!
Carl: You got really good eyesight.
Hugh: What about Luke Skywalker? I tell you, the force was with that guy's pants!
Jimmy: Aw, but Mo-om! It's the new science fiction, kung fu, action, buddy-comedy sequel to last summer's box office smash based off an old TV show we've never heard of! I have to see it!
Sheen: Hey, guys! Why is today like no other day, you ask? Hm, hm, hm? Because I've brought a new UltraLord action figurrrrrrrrrrr(breathes)rrrrrrrrre!
Cindy: You bring one of those every day, UltraLoser.
Sheen: Well, well, Miss Maiden of Wrongness, evidentally you are not aware that this is the new UltraLord Action Figure Number Three with Factory Gender Error! (presses the button)
UltraLord: (in a teenybopper's voice) Um, like, should I wear this dress to the prom?
Cindy: Origami - the ancient art of Japanese paper folding. I will be making the most difficult of all origami sculptures....a snow monkey ----
Jimmy: Actually, paper folding originated in China -----
Cindy: ----- riding a flying dragon -----
Jimmy: ----- in the second century AD -----
Cindy: (starting to get angry, clenches her teeth) ----- while drinking tea -----
Jimmy: ----- and was brought to Japan -----
Cindy: ----- on a ladder ------
Jimmy: ----in the sixth century!
Cindy: (now yelling) ----in December!!
Miss Fowl: Cindy, I didn't know you and Jimmy were doing your report ... together!!
Cindy: (still yelling) WE'RE NOT!!!!
First appearance of Cindy's dog, Humphrey. His name wasn't mentioned, but however, he makes a cameo appearance.
An episode of Invader Zim show, called "Pants" was scrapped before the show was cancelled because Nick thought it would resemble this episode.
An alternative name for Jimmy Neutron was Johnny Quasar, but it was too much like the name Johnny Quest, the teenage hero of the memorable series The Adventures of Johnny Quest
A promotion for this episode aired after Kids Choice Award 2002.
This episode can be seen on the DVD Confusion Fusion.
When Jimmy mentions to himself, "As Goddard as my witness, I shall never pick up my pants again!", he alludes to a quote from the movie "Gone with the Wind." The quote: "As God as my witness, I shall never go hungry again!"
Cindy: I see London, I see France!
This phrase is most commonly used by boys whenever they peek at girls' underwear.
Music: "Go Jimmy, Jimmy" and "Cosmic Thang."
Two songs are featured in this episode: "Go Jimmy, Jimmy" (from Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius) and "Cosmic Thang"
Cindy: Neutron, prepare to face the wrath of Vortex!
This could be a reference to the Crash Bandicoot video game The Wrath of Cortex.
Judy: Hugh Beaumont Neutron!
Hugh Beaumont played Ward Cleaver, Beaver's father, on Leave It To Beaver.
