Gorlock #2, Brain #1
Test Pilot, Announcer, Mr. Wheezer, Mrs. Wheezer
We learn that Carl goes to Bolbi's house for cookies.
When they said that the Gorlocks and Humans were tied in first, that would mean that the Gorlocks would have had to lose to the Brains the first time and the Needleheads the second time, meaing that they would be 2-2. If the Needleheads beat them that would make 3-1, meaning that the Needleheads acutally won.
When the gang was facing Needleheads the first time, there were only 3 of them. In the challenge the next day, there were 4 of them. Where did that other one come from?
Before they get into the space car, Sheen says "Shotgun!" But when they are in the car, Jimmy and Cindy are in the front seats.
As the kids are in the hypnosis created by the Brains and running out of the Candy Bar, if you look above the doors, it says Established since 1970.
Goof: While the kids are in the hypnosis created by the Brains and the zombie adults are chasing them, when Hugh is leaving the Candy Bar, for a few seconds his hair is black.
The friendship contract that Jimmy and Cindy signed (and was later ripped up) did not contain the exact words that they said as they signed it. After Jimmy signed it, it read:
"I, Jimmy Neutron seriously bury the blood stained hatchet with Cindy Vortex that has ever so complicated the lives of the residents of our town, Retroville, and the rest of the galaxy. I promise to get along and try to understand the genius of Cindy Vortex and kiss her hiney.
I, Jimmy Neutron also agree to do my best to see things her way, and not to create crazy inventions to prove her wrong that otherwise may turn the town upside down and create the disturbances they have in the past."

During the interview after the first day of Intergalactic Showdown, Jimmy, Cindy, Bolbi, and Sheen were classified as Big-Headed Human, Big-Mouthed Human, Species Unknown, and Dangerously Unstable Human, respectively.
Jimmy signs Cindy's "friendship" contract to become friends.
We find out that Sheen and Carl shaved their heads once.
Members of the audience for Intergalactic Showdown include the Yokians ("Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius"," The Eggpire Strikes Back"), mitochondria ("Journey to the Center of Carl"), lima bean monsters ("I Dream of Jimmy"), the Junkman, Roxie, and Gortox the Irritable ("The Junkman Cometh"), Zix and Tee ("A Beautiful Mine"), and Captain Betty ("Monster Hunt").
In the vote-off, Jimmy and Goddard voted for Cindy, Cindy and Libby voted for Jimmy, and Sheen, Carl, and Bolbi voted for Bolbi.
Again, Jimmy and Cindy almost kissed. April kissed Jimmy twice, but the first time was the "Gorlockan Seal of Trust."
It took about 500 years for the humans to solve the riddle. (This is because the rock kept getting destroyed before scientists could study it.) The riddle was, "In the dark, they appear without being fetched; in the light, they vanish without being stolen." The answer was, "The stars."
April is of the species Gorlock, and her real name is "Chee-AAAAAAAAHHHHH-toh."
Libby admitted that she "already likes Sheen" and wants to "let their relationship progress naturally."
The species of aliens that compete against the Humans are the Gorlocks, Needleheads, and Brains. The games included Florgus Ball (Gorlocks vs. Humans), Mountain Menace (Needleheads vs. Humans), Greased Martain Toss (Needleheads vs. Brains), Can You Eat This (Humans vs. Needleheads), Obstacle Course Challenge (Humans vs. Brains), and Trivia Showdown (Humans vs. Gorlocks).
Meldar's first appearance.
Captain Betty is not an alien, so how would he get to a different planet? The same goes for the enlarged mithocondria. However, Captain Betty as an alien could be a joke.
The slide that Jimmy put into his machine was a picture of Nick. However, the machine projected Hugh next to the rock.
After Team Earth's second match, the scoreboard showed the Gorlocks in first place, the Brains in second, the Needleheads in third, and Earth in fourth place. However, the Needleheads had won their first two matches, so they should have at least been in second place, if not tied for first.
At the ending when Jimmy starts to reply to April's message rock, we can see that Cindy is yards away from Jimmy, storming off in the opposite direction, and doesn't seem to be changing course. However, as soon as the Candy Bar is out of view, we can hear Cindy yell, "All right that's enough!" while Jimmy protests, obviously implying that she launched the space rock back into space to prevent Jimmy's reply. How could she have changed course that quickly, run back approximately 25 yards, AND launch the space rock in the limited amount of time in which we hear Jimmy say (as to reply), "Dear April," let alone any of the above?
(to the Brains team)
Sheen: Take that, alien slime! Can you smell what the Earth is cookin'?
Hugh: Jimbo's right, kids. Having your planet blown up can ruin your whole week.
(Cindy talking to camera, about Jimmy)
Cindy: Neutron's being a total butt-brain! I swear, if he gets the earth blown up our friendship is over!
Cindy: Oh, right, like I didn't just see you swapping alien spit! Not that I care...at all...
April: I don't understand, Jimmy Neutron. Is this pale, homely female your mate?
Cindy: Ewww! Homely?!
Bolbi: (whispers) Bolbi not wearing underpants (winks to the camera) (puts his vote in the jar).
(slide comes on, showing Sheen scuba diving in a toilet)
Jimmy: But General A, it's a message to us from space! I'm on the verge of translating it!
General Ambercrombie: I don't care if you're gonna dress it up and take it slow dancing! It's strange and unfamiliar, so we have to destroy it!
Jimmy: No offense, General, but you don't know what you're talking about!
(when Carl has to eat the Plutonian Gut Chunks)
Jimmy: (glares at Cindy) Great. Don't listen to the guy who computed the torque spin - he lives in a sad little fantasy world.
Sheen: Uh, Jimmy? What the heck's wrong with our parents?
Jimmy: Could be anything ... stress, lack of sleep, being turned into zombie aliens - either way, RUN!
Hugh: (inhales deeply) Oh, what a day! Morning, Wheezer! Morning, squirrel! Morning, two ton space rock hurtling down on my he--AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! (covers)
(after Jimmy engages the cloaking device on the space rock)
Captain: Hey, where'd the space rock go? Oh, well. Men, back to the base for milk and cookies! Yeehaw!!
Cindy: Jimmy, as your new friend, may I say something?
Jimmy: Of course.
Cindy: It was your stupid brain power that got us into this!!
(after April insults Cindy about not being worthy of Jimmy as a mate)
Cindy: You want a piece of me, girlfriend?!
April: I thought you'd never ask!
(Cindy and April start fighting)
Sheen: (running over) Catfight! Catfight!
Jimmy: Cindy, April, stop!
Sheen: (grabbing Jimmy by the collar) Are you out of your MIND, dude?!?! I dream about girls fighting over me EVERY NIGHT! ... That, and swimming in a vat of pudding....
(after Sheen voted) (looks at camera)
Sheen: Well, you know what they say, dude. You can fool all the people some of the times, but you can't fool the time and the people that leap and strut--forget it! DANG! (walks off)
Sheen: (talking to the camera) Yeah, I'll be honest with ya. This is a man's planet. Like I was sayin' to my chicky babe Libby earlier... (makes moves like he was riding a horse)"Cupcake," I said, "just sit back and let your big strong hunk of man take care of you, all right?" (makes a kissing motion as Libby comes up from behind)
Libby: (annoyed) That's it! Stop the cameras! And you! Come with me! (grabs Sheen's ear)
Sheen: Ow! Not so hard! I'm delicate....
(Libby drags him off-screen)
Sheen: (covering his ears because of the Needleheads) Oh, man! I'm gonna run over there and get that mushroom just to shut them up! (to Libby) Check it out, babe! Cowabunga!! (runs to the entrance, where the monster inside the cave lights him on fire; runs back and hides behind Libby) Takes a real man to run that fast!
Meldar: Nice try Sparky. But how about waitin' 'til I START THE GAME!
Jimmy: Non-geniuses can really make life difficult.
Sheen: And how.
Carl: Tell me about it.
Jimmy: (answering April's Warp Mail) "Dear April..."
Cindy: Okay, that's enough!!
Jimmy: Cindy, wait! No!
(Cindy sends the unfinished Warp Mail off)
Carl: (while voting out Bolbi) I hope that once you get over the betrayal, you'll still come over for cookies....
Bolbi: Bolbi worship space rock...(makes meditative pose with hands) Bolbi spiritual...
This is Carl's favorite episode according to the Genius Sheenius or Inbetweenius marathon.
Cindy shows a lot of jealousy in this episode
The character models used for Vandanna and the girls in the cell of idignity were used in "Jimmy for President" for making the girls that sing before Jimmy walks out of the blimp.
This episode, and the director Mike Gasaway, won a Parent's Choice Award.
Sheen:Can you smell what the Earth is cooking?!
This is a reference to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's famous quote during his wrestling days, "Can you smell what the Rock is cookin'?"
When April threatens Jimmy to not call her by her other name and to "call her April", this is a parody of Dot Warner not wanting to have nicknames in Animaniacs.
When the aliens were interviewing Sheen, you see Libby grab Sheen by the ear and drag him away from the camera after talking about her. This is very similar to Pokémon, when Misty drags Brock away by the ear whenever he flirts with a girl.
Space Rock: Letters
The characters (letters) on the space rock are the same as Phoenician, a dead Semitic language with origins in Canaan.
Space Cable Channels: OMGLOL and ROFL
The names are common laughing expresions. OMGLOL means 'Oh my God! Laughing Out Loud', and ROFL means 'Rolling On The Floor Laughing'.
Win, Lose, and Kaboom: Plot
The plot of this movie is similar to an episode of Dave The Barbarian, "The Figar." It is also similar to an episode of Johnny Bravo, "Third Dork From The Sun."
Space Cable Channel : Planatery Discovery
This is a spoof of The Discovery Channel.
Space Cable Channel:C-Spax
This is an obvious spoof of C-Span.
Space Cable Channel: Nixelodecq
This is an obvious spoof of Nickelodeon.
Space Cable Channel: ESPQKN
This is obviously a spoof of the sports channel ESPN.
Hugh: Look at all these great shows! Laser Soccer from Regulon ... Who Wants to Marry a Yokian ... Studs!
Studs was an early-'90s dating show hosted by Mark DeCarlo, who voices Hugh.
Music: "Blue Danube Waltz"
The music that played while one of Meldar's robots twirled like a ballerina was Johann Strauss the Younger's "Blue Danube Waltz."
Meldar: (chanting) WOOF, WOOF, WOOF!
This chant comes from The Arsenio Hall Show.
Riddle Stone: Rúns
The stone that falls into the Earth's atmosphere in the begining contains special characters called rúns. A rún (pronounced "rune") is Anglo-Saxon for "magic symbol," and these are on the stone. More importantly, they have a strong similarity to the Dwarvish Rúns in the Lord of the Rings.
Meldar: I still control all that you see and hear!
This is a reference to a line from the opening narration of The Outer Limits: "For the next hour, sit quietly, and we will control all that you see and hear."
Vandanna: It's the Antares Z class sedan with multi-warp star drive and optional cloaking device!
The prize car appeared to be based on a Delorian, which was the car used in Back to the Future.
Music: Mission: Impossible
The music that played while Jimmy, Cindy, Libby, Sheen, Carl, and Goddard were breaking into the military base was similar to the Mission: Impossible theme.
Jimmy: If the rock won't come to the lab, then the lab will come to the rock.
This is taken from the saying "if the mountain will not come to Mohammed, Mohammed will go to the mountain."
Vandanna: Who wants to buy a vowel?!
Vandanna is a take on Wheel of Fortune's Vanna White.
Meldar: (singing) There they are, the dominant life-forms! There they are, highly evolved.... The dreams of a million species who are smarter than granite can come true on some beautiful planet if they live to be the most dominant life-form of all, all, aaallllll!
This is a spoof of the Miss America winning song.
Mountain Menace: Appearance
The monster guarding the cave is like the "man-eating bunny rabbit" from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, right down to the spitting fire and eating people in one bite...
April and Cindy: (running up each other's feet and flipping backwards)
This was a move done by Charlie's Angels.
Meldar: And by the way, you're fired.
This is what Donald Trump says to the contestants he fires on his reality show, The Apprentice.
Libby: I don't think we're in Retroville anymore.
This line is taken from Dorothy's famous line in Wizard of Oz and Wicked, "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."
Meldar: Well done, Gorlock. Now, remember, the rules allow you one "lifeline" - someone from back home who can answer the question for you. Here's your question.
The trivia show was a parody of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
Sheen: Can you smell what the Earth is cookin'?!
This line is a spin on "Can you smell what The Rock is cookin'?!", a phrase made popular by the famous WWE wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
Hugh: Ooh, Andromeda 90210!
Carl: Please, sir, can I have some more?
Carl is refrencing the famous book/movie/play Oliver Twist - this line is said by Oliver and is one of the most well known lines of the movie.
Wormhole Generator: Design
The Wormhole Generator design was based off of the design of the Stargate from Stargate SG-1.
Meldar: Bad news, nitrogen-gulpers. As the last place team, you must now vote off one of your teammates.
This voting off was a spoof of Survivor.
Sheen: What's Florgus Ball?
This game is a parody of the famous wizard sport Quidditch, from Harry Potter.
Hugh: My favorite soap opera, General Post Office, has been cancelled!
General Post Office is a parody of the soap opera General Hospital.
