  • One of, if not THE, weakest episodes in the series with Lancelot involved with the remnants of the Roman Empire.

Lance goes to rescue yet another damsel who has been spirited away by 'kilted ghosts' and taken beyond the Roman Wall. It turns out that these kilted ghosts are remnants of the Roman Empire still living the lives of long gone Romans. But they are honourable men! Their leader invites Lance to be his guest but treachery is afoot. One of the servants slips Lance poison into wine (the best wine Lance has ever tasted) that is left as his bedtime drink. Brian sees the poisoning of the wine and stops Lance drinking it. Charges are laid, Lance fights to the death, but his opponent confesses the plot (all to betray their own leader). The fair maiden then admits to wanting to marry her captor, so all ends happily.

Always a little anachronistic, but this takes the biscuit.moreless
