Episode Summary

Spot Looks at Shapes (Spot's Shapes)
We see Spot set up his train tracks. It's oval-shaped. He then plays with the trrain on the tracks, and heads off for a drink. The tray is oval. Spot collects rectangle-shaped letters from the rectangle door. He then lies on a rectangle mat. Sally reminds him that he's going on a picnic with Steve today. Spot gets ready for the picnic - he goes pack up while Sally prepares some picnic lunch for him. He realizes that a rubber ring is circle shaped. And so is a paper plate. Sally then asks if the picnic cloth is round. The answer is of course no - it's square. And so are the napkins and sandwiches. But they're a little too big. So Sally cuts them into triangles. And the napkins are triangles once they're folded. And there's triangles on his sailboat too. Spot then goes take his kite, which is diamond-shaped. He then heads out and meets Steve. Steve's frisbee is a circle. They play with it for a while, then sails a boat. They then set up the picnic lunch and have the lunch. And then they realize that Spot's sailboat, with it's reflection in the water, looks like a diamond, and the pond is an oval. They then play with Spot's kite. They then pack up and go home. Spot then plays his triangle, and realizes that the moon looks like a circle, and his window is a rectangle. Episode ends with Spot singing about shapes and going to bed.moreless
