      As time winds down to Clark losing his powers forever, he tries to retrieve the crystal.  But his colleagues and a childhood bully stand in his way.  Also, Lana thinks she has Superboy's identity figured out.

      Jackson is reactivated as a field agent to investigate a phenomena which causes Superboy to lose control of his powers.  This involves tracing back the events leading up to Superboy's ship landing on Earth.

    • Metamorphosis
      Episode 20

      A gym owner is using the blood of his younger customers, along with a gold derivative, to keep himself young. This results in an acceleration in the victims' aging process. Lana also falls prey to the man.

    • 4/26/92

      The TV news show "Night Time" covers the breaking news of Superboy's apparent death involving a yacht, a distress call, and a kryptonite bomb. Friends and enemies are interviewed while a Coast Guard vessel attempts to locate the body...if there is one.

      Episode 18

      To save his job, Clark is forced to see a psychiatrist, in which he must determine a way to conceal his identity during the interrogation.

      Episode 17

      An intelligent computer that can retrace events on a given incident arrives at the Bureau, and Lana uses it to discover who Superboy is. All clues seem to point to Clark.

      A rare coin seems to bless a criminal with good luck, while cursing Superboy's ability to capture him.

      Luthor and Metallo are broken out of prison by Odessa Vexman, the prison psychiatrist, and the three join forces to finally get rid of the source of their mutual frustration: Superboy.

    • 2/2/92
      Superboy is kidnapped and taken aboard a spaceship whose destination is a paradise planet just west of Alpha Centauri. Inside the ship, he finds most of the occupants are prisoners of a deranged captain, and they all believe Superboy is their savior from an old prophecy.

      Episode 12

      Now captured, a weakened Superboy is unable to stop Chaos. He threatens to throw Superboy from the tallest building in the city to make an example of him. This now puts Bizarro in the position of choosing between his new life as a human being, or going back to the sad life of the freakish being he used to be, so he'll have the power to save his friend.

      Episode 11

      After a year of "normal" life, Bizarro Lana explode, leaving Bizarro devastated. Superboy takes him to an institute for the promise of a new life, using brain wave technology to donate his brain waves to Bizarro. Meanwhile, a man named "Chaos" is out to dispose of Superboy and wages a war against Capitol City, but Superboy is helpless to stop him, due to unforeseen side effects from helping his friend.

    • Into the Mystery
      Episode 10

      While saving lives of people around Capitol City, Superboy encounters a strange woman who appears to be causing the incidents.  This coincides with reminiscent memories of his aunt, who has been gravely ill.  Unknown the Superboy, the strange woman has a connection to his aunt.

    • 12/1/91

      Strange phenomena occur from behind a wall at the Bureau, and it seems to point to the death of a man 50 years prior.  Superboy tries to help figure out a way to stop it before things truly get out of hand.

    • 11/24/91

      Lana saves Superboy from Luthor's virtual reality program, but now they must figure out a way to stop the bomb from detonating.  A person from Luthor's past might prove to be useful in this task.

    • 11/17/91

      Lex Luthor has plans to bring about the end of the world by detonating a network of "dirty bombs" that will wipe out the population with a cloud of radiation. He plans to keep Superboy out of the way with a virtual reality program that will trap Superboy in his painful boyhood memories. This results in a race against time, with the fate of the world at stake.

    • Paranoia
      Episode 6

      UFOs land outside Capitol City and the Bureau for Extra-Normal Matters attempts to investigate. Before they can make a move, Jackson's superiors arrive from Washington claiming that a member of staff is withholding information that could affect national security. When the national Bureau chief is murdered, paranoia grips the staff.

      Darla drinks an experimental formula which gives her strange and erratic powers.

    • The Basement
      Episode 4

      When Lana goes to investigate reports of ghosts in a family's basement, she comes across an alien disguised as a little girl.  She steals Lana's identity and plans to get close to Superboy so she can absorb his powers.

    • 10/20/91

      A young scientist, who has been infected with kryptonite during a lab explosion, plans to use his new powers to harm Superboy.

    • 10/13/91

      Capitol City is in chaos, while Superboy is in jail after being framed.  Meanwhile, Adam threatens to kill Lana unless Tommy helps him develop a weapon to kill Superboy.

    • 10/6/91

      Superboy investigates a wave of violence that occurs with the appearance of some newly installed video screens. An arch nemesis of Superboy's is released from prison on a pardon, creating worries for both Superboy and Lana. Meanwhile, Lana becomes involved with a prominent and wealthy man in town, who later frames Superboy for murder.
