The first true Super-foe

This bodysnatching alien was the first true adversary on this series worthy of a Super-fight, and so it is little surprise it was also the first opponent (other than Lex Luthor) to return. This has Superboy's first flight into space, when confronting the alien in its lair. Little wonder this was featured in the second version of this season's opening title sequences!
Its reappearence in a later 2 parter underlined that bodysnatchers are good low-budget opponents because they don't require the same actors.
It occurs to me to wonder if the bodysnatching suitor of the alien superwoman Neila in the later "Neila and the Beast" shouldn't have been identified as of the same species!moreless
