  • This sixth story of Tintin,: The Broken Ear is one of my favorite in the series

I really loved this one as it was very interesting, highly suspenseful and entertaining of course.

Tintin has discovered a stolen idol at a European museum and decides to get to the bottom of the situation while trying to avoid two Spanish guys at the same time. Tintin and Snowy embark on a journey of a lifetime while Disgising himself as an old man or anything else to get him safely away from danger.

The two Spanish men target and kill Lopez for killing the man who owned the funny, but annoying talking parrot.

There was suspense followed by twists and turns at every corner. It was rather excellent watching the South American tribes that dealt with Lopez and his past before he was murdered.

Also, there were "fake" idols which only made Tintin's adventure more difficult. There were many close calls, and that annoying but hilarious Parrot biting the fingers of the two Spanish "bad" dudes.

Overall this sixth story in the series was probably one of my top episodes for the very reasons already outlined in the review - and:

The Broken Ear is the sixth book in the series (Chronological order).moreless
