I'm already excited. I have no doubt that this will be better than the awful TAR13.

It's almost like people are trying to like the show and just be grateful for what they're getting despite the fact that the show's getting worse. What the show needs right now is good quality, but I'm afraid I don't believe that will ever happen. Even if a fantastic new season his heading this way, I don't think any will be surperior to Seasons 3, 5, 6 and 7.

Yeah, those four seasons will remain at the top of the pile. I have that feeling that there is going to be a very good variety of teams in this season. And if these spoilers are true, then there will be some great destinations as well. Switzerland is the one I am hoping for above all!

I was reading the rff, and here is some info about possibly the first two or three legs of the race:

Oct 31 - Leave US (maybe SFO) - via Frankfurt/Zurich or Milan - to Locarno, Switzerland
Nov 1- 2: tasks around Locarno, drive to Salzburg
Nov 3: Tasks around Salzburg (Mirabell Gardens/St. Peter's Cemetery/Schloss Hellbrunn), drive to Munich
Nov 4: Fly from Munich to Bucharest (racers seen on direct flight, but others maybe via VIE or FRA)
Nov 5: Tasks around Brasov, Romania.

So we can confirm Austria, Switzerland and Romania as locations, and maybe Germany as well, or Germany could just be a point where teams fly in/out of.

They also had this picture of a Pit Stop in Salzburg.

Also, Cape Town, South Africa is likely to be a location as well. Race flags were spotted there, but it may be later on in the race.

    UPDATE:

Here is also a photo in Switzerland (also from rff) showing a team.

    SECOND UPDATE:

Here is a more complete location list, posted towards the end of the filming dates. (from rff)

Starting city --> San Diego or Los Angeles, USA
    leg 1: Locarno, Switzerland
    leg 2: Salzberg, Austria
    leg 3: Bucharest, Romania
leg 4/5: probably in Russia, Turkey, Mideast, Armenia or Azerbaijan
leg 6: probably somewhere in East Africa (I hope Kenya)
    leg 7: unknown
leg 8: probably India (again?), Nepal, Maldives or Bangladesh
leg 9: if it isn't a 2nd to the last leg, Phuket, Thailand
leg 10: probably Canada, South Korea, China, Japan, Saipan, Northern Marianas, Marshall Is., Papua or Vladivostok, Russia
    final leg: back to USA

With the information we know now, leg four or five is likely to be the Siberia leg. Phuket could be Leg 8 or 9, which means that the penultimate leg is likely to be the China leg, mentioned by van Munster.

Looking at the photo of the team above, rff believes that the girl in that team could be the girl that is deaf. However, this is purely speculation, so we don't know if that is true.

7 was great, 3 was good except for the winner, and 5 and 6 were trash.

Looking at the picture, I don't know. Something tells me yes, but something tells me no.

Season 3 is my favorite, partially because of the winners! And yeah, the girl in the photo might not be the deaf girl, because she seems to be communicating with the driver, unless she is lip-reading. But that is definitely a team!

Another user from rff is claiming that she is not the deaf contestant, and the deaf contestant is actually a male, who is racing with his mother. Also from rff, the father/son team that we had heard of, is likely to by Mel & Mike White, the latter of which wrote the movie "The School Of Rock". And they are both supposedly gay

I agree about 3 and 7, but I couldn't disagree more with your opinion regarding 5 and 6. In fact, those two seasons were my favorites, with a tie in first place. I have to say my least favorite for the time being is Season 13, with Seasons 4 and 8 just ahead.

It appears as if a promo has been shown on CBS. It showed the teams at the starting line, and at RFF, they nearly have a complete team list.

Two short men were speculated, but there appears to be two teams of short men. That's interesting!

There also appears to be two blonde female teams. As well as two couples with a blonde female!

There is the tall African American women. There is also a team of tall dark-haired (maybe red-haired) women wearing green.

    There is a mother/son team.

There is Mark & Mel White, the father/son team.

There is also an Asian couple.

And there is an older married couple.

I'm really liking the team list. Four female teams! Two short male teams! Two parent/child teams!

Can't wait til the official cast release!

Me too! Not too many couples or he-men this time.

I'm still holding out for a win from that first group.

I just wanted to make a correction. There is a greater chance of it being three female teams, not four. So here is the team list:

1, 2, 3. Female teams - One African American, the "green team", and one team of blondes.

    4, 5. Short male teams.

    6, 7. Couples with a blonde female.

    8. The older team.

    9. The Asian male/female team.

    10/11. Mother/son and Father/son teams.

    Just a minor note here:

RFF is speculating that the "Orange" couple in the picture I posted earlier is "Preston & Jennifer", and that girl is not deaf.

Please, not Russa again. Oh well, if what your saying about 12 episodes is true then it looks like the 12-legger seasons are back, yess. However, if that is a 'To be continued' leg which is possible, then it will only be a minor improvement over the last season's NEL positioning. These teams sound interesting, and I hope that these guys know how to race properly, unlike race #13's teams.

    Russia, India, China...

Oh boy, here we go again. 8-)

But quite surprisingly, four European countries are on this list.

I'm very optimistic about this season. Not least because on RFF, someone mentioned Cara & Jaime being spotted in Beijing, China, possibly en route to the final destination in Hawaii. It's possible we've got our fourth-ever women's team to make the F3 (unless they were the decoys that went out in fourth), and I'm happy about that.
