    Hello everyone!

It seems like TAR has started filming its twentieth edition, according to RFF. A bunch of teams were sighted in LAX today (another LA start...) and they were on a flight to Miami, Florida.

It is currently unclear as to where they are going from Florida, as Miami is a good place to connect to many different Central and South American countries, but some info on RFF suggests that Belize is a possibility, although this is not 100% confirmed yet.

As usual, I will try to bring as much info as possible from RFF over here!

RFF also said that Brendon and Rachel from Big Brother are one of our new contestants. I don't watch BB, but everybody is rooting for them. They seem lovable, I think. Laughing

I found it interesting when I just realized that Belize hasn't been visited at all, although they often give the prize for winning a leg a trip to Belize. I guess it will be great if they visit Belize. Or Venezuela (But it seems impossible due to safety reason. I don't know why Venezuela is unsafe, anyway).

Qatar and Mali, please! They really should visit Qatar because it is our host country for 2022 World Cup

While we are speculating, I think London is possible. Qatar would be great, but that World Cup is still quite far away and there are two World Cups before then. As for London, it is hosting the Olympics next year and TAR has a habit of visitng the Olympic host cities.

However, Sydney, Athens and Beijing (the last three host cities) were visited after they hosted the Olymppics, so maybe London might be left for TAR21 or TAR22?

Yep, Brendon and Rachel are confirmed as the first team on the TAR20!!! I don't know much about them, but if they are anything like Jordan & Jeff, it should make for some interesting TV!!!

Also, we can cross out Belize as the possible first destination. There are a couple of ppossible leads on RFF saying that the teams are headed to Lima, Peru and Buenos Aires, Argentina, but neither of these can be confirmed (yet). And it is alwasys possible that even if they go to one of these places, it is merely a connection point. Howevr, one user on RFF was keeping an eye on Asuncion Airport and they did not get any luck/ unfortuantely it doesn't seem like Asuncion, Paraguay will be Leg 1 (we've never been there - it would've been great to seee...)

    Team List:

    1. Brendon & Rachel

I'm a rabid BB watcher and can tell you they're nothing like Jeff and Jordan. Rachel's kind of trashy and prone to crying jags when she doesn't get her way, she's less beautiful like Jordanbut more stripper-hot, and has the odd duality of being acasino hostess and chemistry student.(don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Rachel) Brendon then has to try to keep Rachel in line, and even though he's working on a Ph.D he can be remarkably stupid; after their first BB appearance Rachel broke up with him briefly because a girl on Skype 'tricked him' into sending a picture of his penis to her. He's also prone to crying.

But they makefor great TV. And if they get to the second half of the race, they'll be a team that has a total meltdown from 'killer fatique'.

Time to update what is going on!

Phil was sighted in Recoleta in Buenos Aires, Argentina but this sighting was several days after the race begins. So this leads RFF to conclude that Leg 1 takes place elsewhere in Argentina and then they travel bakc to the capital for Leg 2.

Then, teams were sighted in Asuncion, Paraguay, which marks the first new country to be visite d on TAR20!!! The Pit Stop is presumed to be at Escalinata Antequera and teams supposedly performed some sort of dance as part of the leg's Roadblock.

As always, a great job by the users on RFF for all this info and I can't wait to discover what will happen next!

Teams are now supposedly flying to Germany via Brazil, according to RFF. RFF claims that it is possible that Germany is merely a connection before teams fly elsewhere in Europe.

So the route is appearing like this:

Leg 1: LA -> somewhere in Argentina
    Leg 2: Buenos Aires, Argentina
    Leg 3: Asuncion, Paraguay
    Leg 4: Europe someewhere

Hey that is not bad actually. I think TAR 20 will be way better than the abysmal 19, and possibly even superior to 17 and 18... Maybe. If I watch the first episode and I'm not convinced, then that will be the end of TAR for me.

Why do they always have to start in LA? I'd like them departing San Francisco, that would be cool. So they're travelling east this time around. Normally I prefer West like with 10, 15 and 18, not 19 though. It will be a nice change I guess.

    I hope they visit:

Portugal, Italy, Slovenia and maybe Greece and Albania this time. Spend as little time in Asia as possible, especially because 19 spent 5 abysmal legs there, and when the race travels EAST the less the better, for me personally. I would like the last few legs to maybe stop in New Zealand, Tahiti or Canada perhaps. Enjoy a nice new route.

Building on from the route we currently have, I am hoping for Legs 4-8 to be in Europe and Africa. Either 3 in Europe and 2 in Africa or vice versa. Then maybe I could tolerate ONE leg in Asia - and if that leg is in the Middle East, much btter! - and then hopefully Leg 10 in New Zealand and LLeg 11 in Canada before the Leg 12 finale.

This route would require some long flights on the last few legs, but there wouldn't be much flying until about Leg 9/10, so it is feasible i guess?

Why do you guys hate Asia?Laughing . Yeah, I know Asia is way overused, but Asia provides great and difficult challenges because of its differences: difference culture, language, etc. Teams also keep making mistakes there. Yeah, I know I know, I am from Asia so my argument is pointless

I wonder where the teams are now. Somewhere in Europe, I think. Since they may be headed to Germany, I guess we won't see Portugal and Spain on this season .

I know some people don't like it when reality stars go on the Amazing Race, but I have to say that Brendon and Rachel were a BRILLIANT casting choice. They gonna be awesome to watch. I think they might actually go deep too. They are both pretty smart, competitive, challenge monsters. Unless they really screw up, I think they will go farther than Jeff and Jordan did. I would actually like to see Brenchel go head to head against Rob and Amber one season. That would be EPIC.

I don't hate Asia, but I think it is extremely overused! They've been there EVERY season of the race for at least one leg. I'd like them to not go there for once! They sometimes have great legs in Asia, such as TAR6's leg in Xian, China or TAR9's leg in Thailand, but on TAR19, the Asian legs were horrible for me and I didn't enjoy any of them except Leg 3.

Germany could still be a connection to somewhere. I hope Spain and Portugal are visited, as I would love to see these countries again! I'll check RFF in the next couple of hours and I'll report with any updates!

According to RFF, The teams were spotted in Torino, Italy. Yes! We'll see Italy again for the 20th season. Someone's gonna be happy I think.

Yep, Italy should be great! The TAR12 leg there was one of my all-time favourites!!!

Due to the large number o f days between Asuncion and Torino, this Torino leg is most definitely Leg 5 (if not even later) and there is definitely a leg before it. Germany is possible, due to the flight to Frankfurt, but an actual leg in Germany is not confirmed.

Perhaps another leg in Italy is also a possibility?

Can't wait to see what the RFF team will uncover next!

There's a possibility that danieldian's wish could come true, in terms of Qatar. RFF has found a tweet which supposedly claims that teams were seen in Doha Airport, having arrived on a flight from Kathmandu, Nepal.

While these two locations would be great, it isn't 100% confirmed just yet. It's also quite strange, because they were going east on this race, so if this is true, then they will be doing a loop, similar to Season 7.

I'll update here if RFF confirms this to be true/false, but let's all keep our fingers crossed!

Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding, RFF has not confirmed this at all, but it is being speculated as a possibility.

Hello, Qatar! I hope it's true. I guess they have some tasks involving football or something like that. The last season which has football task was Season 15, I think. Nepal is also great addition, too. Phil's dream to go to Nepal finally comes true. I heard that the country which is supposed to be visited from last season was not Nepal, butLaos.I don't know whether this is true or not, though. Oh, is it true that the premiere of 20th season is on February 19th?
