With an odd number of hour long episodes to be combined into seven 2 hour syndication packages of 'movies' featuring three 2 hour long stories and four 2 episode compilations which were later sold as 2 hour video tapes, this episode was chosen to be left out, and remained unseen until a onetime appearance during a Sci-Fi Channel marathon nearly 20 years later. It remains the least seen episode of the series.
Ellen Bry (Julie Masters) is added to the opening credits.
A new producer, Lionel E. Siegel, took over and jazzed up the the opening credits with different clips and music. The theme by Stu Phillips was replaced by a more upbeat theme by Dana Kaproff; probably to help the slipping ratings.
