It's wonderful to see Warren Christopher in a pre - MASH role! The irony of Andy being so reticient to bring Opie to the new doctor--after he has been so vocal in telling others to give the new doctor a chance. Helen is the one who is able to get through to Andy and let him permit Opie to have his tonsils out by the new doctor. A warm and wonderful episode with a universal message :Change is difficult--but especially if you are from Mayberry.moreless
