When Aunt Bee wins a trip for two to Mexico she finds herself in a dilemma. Since she can't bring Andy and Opie, she must decide which of her two friends can go, Myrtle or Clara. Helen comes up with the idea that if Myrtle and Clara can pay half, then they can all three go. Myrtle and Clara agree and the three best friends of are off the Mexico (Me-hico as it's pronounced, and Clara makes sure everyone knows it).
However, trouble sets in when these three best friends begin bickering before they even get on the airplane. After only a day or two in Mexico, Bee, Clara, and Myrtle are bickering constantly, never seeming to agree on anything. By the time they land back in North Carolina, they are not speaking to one another!
After a few days of this, Andy realizes something must be done. He gets the idea to get all three women in the drug store at the same time to pick up their photographs from the trip. As they begin to look through their pictures, just as Andy suspected, they realize that had plenty of good times together and the three friends make up.
