    This is a sweet but a little too uneven in the execution. There is not enough substance to the scenes--things are brought to a climax (Opie's jealousy) by too few things, happening too quickly. While I understand that it is a half hour show(!) the episode could have done with some deeper monologues and exchanges between Opie and his Dad. The funniest scene in this episode is actually between Barney and Andy, as they reminsce about their friendship (which apparently started in the fourth grade) and how Andy once "stole" a girl from Barney. That scene makes the whole episode worth watching (and adds to the total points I have given this episode)moreless
