  • Mayberry's true values come to the forefront.

    8.9
This is a very sensitively written episode that is very, very good. The episode tackles the issue of money and possessions in a very compassionate way, and we see the true integrity and beauty of Mayberry. They all pitch together to help save a neighbor's house from being foreclosed upon by Ben Weaver. Andy tries every trick in the book to stall Ben Weaver from foreclosing on the family (and forcing Andy to serve the papers). What makes this episode so special is that it touches a universal cord in all of us to belong to a town or a community where people truly do want to help you in your time of need. A beautiful sentiment very well expressed.moreless
