  • Aunt Bee's Canton Palace!

    9.0
This is one of my favorite episodes. Very well written and the dialogue is sharp and clever. Seeing them eat chow mein and discuss fried rice is just too precious! I particularly loved the close up of Aunt Bee as she is reading her fortune cookie--it was a very tender moment. It's nice to see that the citizens of Mayberry accept and appreciate asians their culture. I only wish we had seen more of the Canton Palace in future episodes. It would have been a good addition to Mayberry. Howard Sprague is particuarly good in this episode with some of the funniest lines. Not to be missed!moreless
