  • Peggy and Andy break up

    8.6
This is a terrific episode where we do get to see a little more of the fabulous Joanna Moore (Peggy). Watching Barney try to console Andy (who's more irritated than actually hurt) and try to find him dates, is hysterical. Barney tries to tell Andy that talking it out will "therapatic" (!) and brings over a walking wallflower (a friend of Thelma Lou's) which doesn't work and then manages to trick Andy into going to Mount Pilot and having a double date with some real "winners". This obviously does not bode well with Andy and he insists on leaving. Before they can leave the big boyfriend of one of them shows up and punches Andy in the eye. The punch is actually filmed off screen and only Barney's face is shown --- a very funny moment. Of course, Peggy reappears at the end and adds her usual warmth and humor to the episode. Completely watchable --and having Joanna Moore in the episode makes it all the more special.moreless
