  • Trivia

  • Quotes

    • Sally: I hope she knows what she's doing.
Barney: (calling from outside the house) Hey Chuck, it's me, Barney Fife.
Naomi: Don't worry. Maude's a very clever woman. She'll think of something brilliant. Just watch.
Maude: (shouting out to Barney & Floyd) There's nobody here.
(Naomi and Sally roll their eyes at each other.)

    • Sally: This is worse than being in sterile, when are we going to get out of here?
      Maude: Relax
      Sally: Oh, I'm board stiff
      Maude: Put on some music
Sally: Oh, that reminds me of that old Cascade Club back in Toledo. C'mon Al honey, just for old times' sake.
      Barney: No!
Maude: [Pointing gun] If Sally wants to dance, ya dance!

    • Andy: Mr. O'Malley?!
Mr. Malley: Is the heat gettin' you Andy? I told you two weeks ago I was goin' to De-troit.

    • (after the convicts are all out of the house)
Floyd: Al, if those hamburgers are ruined, I won't be responsible!

    • Floyd: [after returning to the cottage from the grocery store while being held at gunpoint] We're home!.

    • Barney: Hey, this is the O'Malley place. I thought he was in Detroit.
Floyd: Oh, maybe he rented the place to somebody.
Barney: O'Malley? You kiddin'? Unh no, he don't need the money. He's a wealthy man, you know.
      Floyd: O'Malley has money?
      Barney: Oh, yeah.
      Floyd: I didn't know that.
Barney: Oh, yeah. His wife's father was Jensen... "Jensen Orthopedic Loafers".
Floyd: You don't say. Gee, I didn't know that. Funny the things you don't know.
      Barney: Yeah, he cleaned up.
Floyd: Lotta bad feet in this country.
Barney: The old man knew where the money was.
      Floyd: Feet.
Barney: Daddy, you are so-o-o right!

  • Notes

    • This is the last appearance of Howard McNear (Floyd the Barber) before the actor suffered a stroke and left the show. He would return in season four but his character would be very different, nearly immobile from the damage caused by the stroke. He would stay with the show until his retirement following the seventh season.

    • Due to his likeness to another man, Sally refers to Barney as "Al". Floyd calls Barney by the name "Al" for the rest of the episode.
