This is a very well written episode that showcases both the characters of Howard and Floyd. They are very well matched in both acting and style in this episode. There are some seriously funy lines in this episode! This is nice ensemble work with good lines for Goober, Andy, Opie, & Aunt Bee.

    ADD NOTES
    • In this episode Howard purchases the building that houses Floyd's Barbershop. When Floyd retires sometime between seasons 7 and 8 Emmitt moves his Fix-It shop into the building. This fact or the idea that Howard is Emmitt's landord is never mentioned in either The Andy Griffith Show or Mayberry RFD which indicates that Howard might have sold the property after Floyd retired.
