I thought this episode was quite charming, and well written. The use of many of the peripheral characters in the show, is very good, and lets us see more of the town of Mayberry. As Andy, Barney and Aunt Bee, discover to their total embarrassment the things that Opie and the boys have put into their newspaper and frantically try to stop anyone in town from reading it, the episode definitely reaches a high mark in humor. The next to last scene with the three of them at the city dump trying to find the newspapers that were thrown out (rather than burned!) is hysterical and a true classic of the series. The deeper moral of this story, the universal truth that we are all, to some degree, "nosy neighbors" is as true today as it was in 1965.
