While sometimes cheesy and unrealistic this show is ultimately funny and wholesomely good. It revolves around the lives of Andy Taylor, a sheriff, his son Opie Taylor and the ever worrisome deputy Barney Fife. There are adventures and fun times and scary ones too. But the trusted gang of the town of Mayberry can always pull through fine when they have their friends beside them. Barney in particular seems to find the most trouble and Andy often has to find himself as devising a plan so Barney won't look like the laughing stock of the town. This show was cleverly written and has plenty of charm for any show. I would recommend it to anyone.
