This is a good episode that could have been great. We never really see Andy sick or even need an aspirin. It's kind of nice to see that he's human after all! The best part of this episode is watching Andy resist his diagnosis--and get sicker and sicker with the flu. Aunt Bee is priceless, as are Goober and Emmett. The background story of the new speeding laws and how Goober tries to enforce it is not really necessary. Everyone trying to "help" Andy get better is far funnier, than the actual background story. Andy's frustration at having to be in bed is priceless, and Andy Griffith is in rare comedic form.moreless
