An excellent episode, where Don Knotts truly shows his comedic talents and timing. With able assistance from Andy Griffith, this episode is one of the best of the series. We see Barney in all his classic foul ups and his penchant for getting in trouble--in this occasion, because of his superstitious nature. Of course, the moral of the story is that there is no such thing as "good luck" or "bad luck"--and the episode truly hits home in the Andy Griffith style of gentle humor and sincere acting. The writing in this episode is particularly strong. A must see!
