Aunt Bee the Diva!

Aunt Bee's Thespian talents are tested as Miss Mayberry--and she is deliciously bad! The episode is a bit creaky in spots--corny if you will--but the ending is very sweet and endearing to long term viewers. It's always nice to see Frances Bavier's episodes in the series--no matter how trite the lines--she is able to bring an extra dimension to all she touches. A very good entry in the series.
