  • An episode focusing on the young talent on the show. Well done.

    8.8
This is one of my favorite episodes. Opie\'s friend Arnold get a tape recorder from his father. They manage to record a coversation between a suspect and his lawyer. Jailed crook Eddie Blake (Herbie Faye) is worth the watch. His interactions with with cast are memorable, especially his confrontations with Goober. The boys learn about Due Process and in order to stay out of trouble them selves, must convince Eddie to confess. Fine acting by both Ronny Howard & Sheldon Collins. A Very fun episode.moreless
  • Not the best episode but still watchable.

    7.0
Opie and Arnold are playing around with their new tape recorder, and tape a prisoner's confession to his lawyer. There are some good moments, but the overly simplistic resolution of the episode makes it only average in my opinion. The over reliance on the children in this episode, without too much feedback from the other funnier characters in the show, means this show is lacking real depth in its humour potential.moreless
