  • A rather boring episode. At least we got to see Jim be a hero, Alexis accuse people of not being passionate, and Leslie call Marcella a Latina.

This episode, featuring the thrilling task of selling expensive coffee makers, was another example in what has been a recent trend of having boring episodes. For this task, both teams had to sell Coffee makers. Jim and Marcella were project managers.

Marcella decided to sell coffee machines by bringing in a celebrity pastry chef. Before continuing, it's worth noting that, unlike floral designers, there are, in fact, celebrity chefs, but they are few and far between. Examples include Bobby Flay, Emeril, and maybe that naked chef guy. I'm pretty sure whoever Marcella wanted was not a real celebrity. The team didn't get behind her, and they lost.

Before the conference room, Jim saw that his old "creative" matchstick friend was in trouble, and he told her exactly what to say in the conference room. Oh Jim, you're so full of surprises.

In the conference room, Alexis told the team that they seemed dead, and lacked passion. Everyone in America saw the humor in that exchange, so I'm not even going to elaborate further. In the end, Amanda was told she just didn't fit in, because she wasn't a team player. With a week off, we can just sit back, and wish that Alexis was at our homes for Thanksgiving, making us Lobster sandwiches, unless we're vegetarians, because she'll remember.moreless

The task was to open a store and sell coffee machines. I think that the reason that Matchstick lost the task is because they were too many pasteries, and the ppl were interested in free food. Compared to Primarius, who were driven to sell the coffee machines, Matchstick didn't focus on that. I only saw Marcela trying to sell as much as she could. What were the others doing? It was an good episode, not the best, but still ok.moreless
