  • I like this seasons cast but not the shows

I started out liking this new season, but now I have a hard time watching. The cast is just not up to par and neither is the editing. I think all the candidates look dull and uninteresting. I really like the international flavor, but the episodes are not great. I still love Trump and his flair on the show, but it is not a great year.

  • I actually caught another episode and the teams totally weren't dumb!

This week on the Apprentice, Gold Rush and Synergy had to design limited edition souvenier brochures for the Ellis Island Foundation. All profits would benefit this foundation that updates and maintains Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. It is good to see them giving back to the New York community instead of just national charities.
Gold Rush got right on the project, because they wanted to start selling as soon as possible. In fact, one of them thought of selling these brochures in bulk to hotels in the surrounding area for tourists. It was a good idea in theory, but I didn't think that hotels would want to buy these brochures they want them given to them (ony one hotel took them up on the offer 100 brochures for $80 or something. But they redeemed themselves by getting up early and dominating the best place for selling the product-the line of people waiting to get on the ferry boat to Ellis Island.
Synergy on the other hand, was more content focused which hurt them in the end. Tammy losing the notebook wasn't as big as they made it out to be- who hasn't left something in a weird place before? The only bad thing that came out of it was that the Project Manager was not on the boat to help brainstorm with the rest of the team (like direct focus of the pictures). Since they were content focused, they hadn't lined up a selling plan. They got up and out later than Gold Rush only to find them making a killing at the spot they wanted. If they even wanted to compete with Gold Rush, they should have gotten out at the same time to challenge them and make the consumers pick for themselves which brochure they thought best. That was the beauty of Gold Rush's plan: sneak attack strategy. It worked.
Synergy ends up losing, as Gold Rush made twice the profit. I say it was between Ally the PM and Andrea. Ally shouldn't have gotten off the boat with Tammy and she also should have fought for Synergy's selling position (like going to the very back of the line to cut Gold Rush off) instead of going to Ellis Island. Andrea was annoying. She thought she knew everything- she had the brochure cover designed but thank goodness Ally put the brakes on it- the cover was horrible how Andrea designed it. And, she was very timid in sales.
In the end, Andrea went home for the sake of the Synergy, maybe now they can win again.

  • This episode was good enough to make me want to continue watching.

First challange in a while that actually was worth watching. It was nice to see them hyping something worthwhile and I am glad that Gold Rush was able to rise to the challange.

Seeing The Donald's son for the first time was interesting, I don't think he is a George or a Bill, but he had some good comments.

I was amazed when Allie got off the boat to go look for the notes. I just don't understand the logic of that move. I also don't understand why she gave up selling on the NYC side and went to the island. It was almost like 'ok we've lost, let's conceed the best location totally'.

Well, let's see if Gold Rush can keep its momentum from this week heading toward the end.moreless

  • Goldrush and Synergy work campaings to design souvenirs for Ellis Island foundation in New York.

    6.1
    "Fair"
Well Goldrush finally won thanks to Synergy's complete disaster of handling this task from beginning to end.

Everything that could go wrong for them went wrong. Allie
made some bad decisions (going to Island instead of staying at New York which Goldrush did). Andrea once again did nothing and just came across as a big paint. Tammy lost
her notes on a damn ferry boat!!!!! LOL

These people are suppoed to be professionals? LMAO

Anyways Goldrush lost four time in a row and this time
they finally did show their game face after dropping a lot
of dead weight (Lenny, Leslie though Leslie was smarter than LennY) and they did everything right for a change.

Lee wasn't great but he did make some smart decisions.
Charmaine cold calling to people ended up paying on as she
got a call back for a great order of souvenirs.

In the end, Goldrush ending making up twice the money
that Synergy did and they finally enjoyed being the winners,
    not the losers.

At the boardroom, Allie made no secret that she detested
Andrea. This was probably the most hilarious and vicious
boardroom to date. They really laid on Andrea and all Andrea
could do was sit there and take it. Not that I feel sorry
for her, she was rude and incompetent and tried to pass herself off as something better. In the end. Trump didn't
even need to send to Allie who to bring back he fired
    Andrea on the spot.

Still though it'll be interesting to see what happens
next week. GoldRush has shown itself to self-destruct and
Charmaine made it clear she doesn't like Lee even going as
far as saying she hoped they lose so she hoped Lee be fired.
    LMAO.

I'am actually excited to see how it turns out.moreless
