  • Arrow and Kinetic are asked to pull of a halftime event showcasing the GNC product for an LA Galaxy show.

Decent episode. The task was definitely more challenging than others. Putting on a halftime event is a big deal and very costly to make so we really got to see who stepped up to the plate.

Arrow felt apart in this episode and it really wasn't Surya's fault. Surya is a backstabber and hypocrite and a terrible leader but this time around I don't see how you could blame him for the loss.

He went ahead and approved Tim and Frank's idea to incorporate boxing for the GNC product. This was more of a case of a team not liking its leader and eventually getting rid of him or her.

Kinetic's idea to make the GNC product into more of a race with a bit of humor and gags was definitely better. It got the fans involved and the fans were entertained by it. Arrow's execution of the idea just lacked energy and was just really bland. That was Tim and Frank's fault not Surya's.

In the boardroom though Surya did get a few licks in and I think he exposed James, Frank and Tim to Trump. Even Bill got into it and said James was trying to cover his ass. It's kind of what I expect from Arrow. The strongest person I've seen so far for this team was Aaron and he's gone permanently.

It'll be interesting now then to see how Arrow will act if they lose again and who will go after whom. Another last thing here that really had me laughing. For such professionals that Tim, Frank and Nicole tried to be why the hell were they doubting their ideas at the last minute?
LOL. I know they wish they could pin that on Surya as well but it's obviously they are a bit weak to be Trump's Apprentice.moreless

  • Finally! A great episode this season!

Well, well, well. We finally got to watch a good episode of "The Apprentice: Los Angeles." It was fun to watch because we got to see some real drama between the job applicants, the challenge was good, in theory, and the reward was pretty sweet.

As for the reward, I think that it was the best this season. Any time that you get to spend time with Donald Trump in a social situation is always a good thing. I mean, you get a chance to schmooze with the man who may be your boss. As for the challenge, the idea was good in theory, but neither corporation really executed it well. I think the VP from GNC had to pick among to crappy performances. In the end, I was sad to see Surya get fired. The man really worked hard and although he was a little abrasive, he truly wanted to succeed, which is much more than you could say for James, Tim, Frank and the two girls from Arrow. In the board room, I especially liked when Bill Rancic called out Frank for questioning the team's plan at the eleventh hour just so he could have an excuse if they lost.moreless

  • Thank God they sent Suryea home.

I cringed every time I saw Suryea with his team. I could not imagine working with someone like him. Why was he always writing ??? In the midst of everyone talking and brainstorming, he told everyone to be quiet and write down their ideas. And whenever Frank would open his mouth, Suryea would look at him disapprovingly. Are you kidding me? In a real workplace, he's the type of employee who just needs to sit behind a desk. I could never see him doing well in a hands on kind of job. He was not what Trump is looking for. I didn't care much for Frank the first few episodes, but he's looking better and better to me. My favorites to win are Heidi frist, Frank second.moreless
