Bling It On
AIRED:
This week's task is to create an 11 minute charity auction featuring hip-hop music artists, and raise the most money. Networth raised $11,325, while Magna raised $21,654 for their win. There was no reward for Magna, aside from the feeling of raising money for charity. For the third week straight, Networth went to the boardroom, where Trump fired John.moreless

    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (7)

      • John's true colors, which had been hinted at in the previous episode, are fully revealed when viewers learn he has a blatant disrespect for women.

      • This is the first time this season that a team, Networth, has lost three weeks in a row.

      • At this point, Kendra is the only remaining candidate who has not faced the final boardroom yet.

      • This is the second time this season that someone other than the Project Manager gets fired, the first time being in "Airstream of Consciousness."

      • For the first time this season, and the third time in the entire series, we do not see Trump talking to his associates after a firing. Instead, we see Chris and John hugging each other one last time before John heads down to the taxi cab. Later, John's confessional in the taxi cab airs BEFORE the ending credits.

      • Just like in "Tit for Tat," no extra reward is given because the reward itself is that the teams raised so much money for charity.

      • This episode is the first time in Season Three where "Book Smarts" and "Street Smarts" are no longer seen under "Magna Corporation" and "Net Worth Corporation," respectively, because of the corporate restructuring.

    • QUOTES (4)

    • NOTES (3)

      • Networth Project Manager Chris pulls John and Erin into the final boardroom, where John is fired. Before the boardroom ends, however, Chris has his third boardroom blowup.

      • The Project Managers in this episode are Kendra for Magna and Chris for Net Worth. Kendra's win earns her an exemption for the next task.

      • This episode marks the third "corporate restructuring" of the series. After the shuffle, where the Project Managers for the upcoming task send their two weakest members over to the other team, Chris Stephanie, Erin, John, and Angie make up Networth and Kendra, Tana, Craig, Alex, and Bren constitute Magna. In "What You Didn't See...", it is revealed that Chris tries to get rid of Stephanie after she is sent from Magna to Networth, but Trump does not let him.

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Kendra briefly mentions Bren's "cucumber" commercial idea from "Soap Dopes" when she says "Just no cucumbers!"

      • The episode title is an obvious reference to the teen cheerleading movie Bring It On, which stars Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, and Gabrielle Union.
