Joan winning wow.... the trumps must be the ones with the alcohol abuse problem if they think that is correct.

Annie played the game harder better the whole time. Joan deservered it many peeps say.... if walking out on a charity because of EMO FAMILY crap is pretty fail in my books. Annie brought more money and had a lot more **** to clear up do to Joan screwing everything up for her. The fact that joan was such a horrible player at buissness and leading/working together the whole time pretty much proved she didnt deserve to win. Hell honestly picking joan is like picking omarosha over peirce who was clearly the end game epic game player. Only reason they won is cause they boned annie out of a professionaly organized event and they had more experiance having celeb partys. Annie could have raided 1.5 mill and still got beat by joans pathetic 100k because of the silly standards. Joan is pretty much illogical to the max and has to understanding of buisness. And fake celebs common.... What a joke i guess the donald just does not care much like with his hair peice...

I normally love this show and my husband and I are faithful viewers but am so offended that Dionne Worwick feels the right to degrade and say so many ignorate things to Marlee Matlin and no one on the ladies team felt the need to speak up. I find Dionne to be a bully and everyone on the ASAP team to be cowards! Then when Marlee spoke about it in the Board Room, Donald Trump was quick to dismiss it. In all the years this is the first deaf person who has been on the show and as far as I can remember the only one with a disability and to see how she is ignored and mistreated is very disgusting in every way! I think a grave mistake has been made by everyone on the show and hope in some way that Marlee gets some kind of respect and apology in some way by everyone! Remember they are playing for charity!

  • Ashamed of some of the "celebrities" on the show. Physical/Verbal abuse. And then for it to be supported as being strong! Sour, Sour!

Well, so Donald is "Pro Bully". How disappointed I was to see this. Such an ugly message to put out there. I was so encouraged to hear so many celebrities speak out against it, but I guess Donald Trump is not one of them. To bad! He has potential to make a real statement, to bad is a negative statement. People look up to him, this is just so wrong is so many ways. Playing a game is fun, intriguing, fascinating. Should not be pro bully, that's just so wrong on so many levels. Shame, Shame, Shame, Shame, Shame, Shame.

Personally - I am tired of both looking at Donalds arrogant face and hearing his obnoxious and shallow thoughts. And, seeing his 2 cloned sons as well, neither of which contributes anything of substance to the show other than being Trump Bookends in the boardroom so that Donald can remind himself how wonderful of a father he is and look at his own stupid smiile and hair style without a mirror as he tapes the show. I wonder if the Donald himself would fire one of the contestents if he/she hired a relative for a project that had no skill or talent for the postiion, in what is clearly an act of patronage?

I cannot believe Lennox didn't get it when Pierce called him "sleepy BOY"! Mr. Trump told Pierce, it was a derogatory statement. I say, coming from a Brit it was racist! Lennox, "WAKE UP" you're still asleep! How dare you let Pierce get away with calling you boy! Stop trying to be Mr. Nice Guy! Don't let anyone call you boy without addressing it, PLEASE! Pierce, Amorosa didn't say anything about your children, she said another man is raising your children. It was hurtful and mean. Now you know how Lennox should have felt when you called him "SLEEPY BOY!"

  • A reality show that does not cater to the dysfunctional.

    8.0
    "Great"
I have to admit that I broke down and decided to watch this show for the first time fully prepared to hate it. I am not the biggest fan of reality shows. But I changed my mind, and here's why. 1.) Low normal I.Q.s need not apply. The Apprentice does not insult my intelligence with a never ending stream of dysfunctional social basket cases playing a never ending game of 'Who's the daddy'. The contestants all seem to be talented to some degree and have something to offer the rest of the world. They think like winners. 2.) Everybody participating in this contest comes away a winner, even the fired wind up with a better idea of what works and what doesn't in the real business world. Few people are better qualified than Donald Trump to teach lessons like this both to the contestants and the viewer. The show advocates a winning mentality that everyone can benefit from just by watching. I find this refreshing.

  • A disgrace. The Rivers woman trashed the show and I will not watch it again.

    "Terrible"
I think the finale was a disgrace. It has changed my way of thinking about Donald Trump. Joan Rivers and Melissa were both trashy the entire show. I will never watch the show again. I was a fan. Not anymore after tonights finale. Trump fired Khole K. because he didn't like she had a DUI, what does he think of Joan and Melissa. Ruthless business woman I really hope not. I was never a fan of either of them because I don't think their mouths are very clean(if you know what I mean). Melissa needs to take a lok ather behavior from when she was fired and try cutting the apron strings from her MOM.

Annie may be no-nonsense and may offend some people with her bluntness, but she got the job done which is what matters. Rivers won because, for some reason, she was the fan favorite, despite her hateful Hitler comments. When Annie tried to talk to her to make peace, the 70 year old woman acted like a 3 year old child and refused to talk to her. I will never think of Joan (or Melissa) the same way after their witnessing their ugly side that most of us don't see behind closed doors. Annie deserved to win, but Trump was too afraid to make the right decision.

    2.0

    Come on people...

Can't any of you see this for what it really is? It's a scripted and staged feud between Joan Rivers and Annie Duke in order to increase viewership! Remember how Joan Rivers was fighting with Clint Black a couple of weeks ago? Isn't it amazing how quickly they made up with each other just before Joan started insulting and fighting with Annie Duke?

I guarantee that Joan and Melissa Rivers will show up at the Celebrity Apprentice finale, and eventually it will come out that this entire feud was staged!

Donald Trump is a modern day P. T. Barnum!

I can't stand to watch this show. I think that I have watched it only 1 or 2 times and it was very painful to sit through. The first season was probably the most barable, but everything after was a complete bore and waste of time. The premise gets old real fast. I will say that there have been a few entertaining bits, but those have been far and in between so it really does not help the show, in my book at least. Overall, this show is really not one I will ever watch again as it does not interest me. Thank you.

I'll admit. Business isn't my thing. But, this show just isn't fun to watch. The basic concept of the series isn't even that interesting. Also, I dislike Donald Trump, and it seems like this is another one of those things that he does just to indirectly say, "I have lots of money and lots of power." He forgot one other thing to share with us. Trump forgot to tell us, "I'm an overconfident dumb@$$". This show sort of makes me feel bad about myself and what our world has become. Maybe if you're really into the business world and Mr. Trump, you will enjoy this show. But, I personally don't enjoy watching these people set up business plans, and negotiate financial situations. It's just kind of boring in my eyes.

    "Fair"
Season one of the show was great reality TV. The contestents were smart, sharp and ready for action - well with the exception of one, who the heck is Omarosa anyway? She had way too much attitude and made women - especially black women- look BAD. So much so that I didn't watch the following seasons of the show, but when I heard that they were doing a celebrity version my curiosity got the best of me. I knew that most "real" celebrities would be too busy to actually participate but I was hoping they'd get some names and they did - a few, but when I heard that The Donald had brought back "her" I couldn't believe it, she's not a celebrity! I mean this is a woman who was on the Surreal Life and allowed camera to follow her around to get a boob job. Hardly celebrity material, but I watched any way and to no surprise she utterly embarrassed herself It was shameful how insecure she was and how she resorted to comments about Pier's family. Not to mention the fact that she had NO celebrity Rolodex to speak of and task after task failed to win or even be a valuable player. I hope that Mr. Trump will finally see that Omarosa does not a celebrity make and that TV Execs would stop casting her on ANYTHING!

This is the only Apprentice we've watched. It has definitely been a roller-coaster ride. Gene Simmons exited surprisingly early in the season. He's got the know-how to have won, but seemingly sacrificed himself early on. Too bad...would have liked to see him stick it out to the end. On the episode where they sold items on TV, we were very disappointed in Carol Alt for not admitting she knew about the 'make payments' option. She has sold that venue before...she HAD to know, but blatantly lied and said she didn't. That did it for us, as far as she is concerned. We were glad to see her finally go. Now that it is down to Piers and Stephen, it ought to get VERY interesting to see these two duke it out to the end!

I used to love the Apprentice. When it first started out we had parties each week to watch it all together. Somewhere it went horribly wrong and they decided to do a Celebrity Apprentice. To start with, most of the celebs on the show are barely recognizable. Marilu Henner? Piers Morgan? OMAROSA? What is she famous for? The absolute most annoying celeb on the show is Stephen Baldwin. He is a steamroller. I just want to jump through the tv and beat him! The tasks have been lame. The monies sent to charities have been paltry. Trump can certainly afford more than $20,000 each time. Perhaps if there had been some real star power on the show it would have been worth watching. Instead, it might as well have been the Surreal Life goes to New York.

I cant stand to see this **** Omarosa being so rude to people, when she has NOTHING to offer except being mean, snobby and rude. she has no talent, (except being ****y) or intellect or class. I have never hated anyone in my life as her. My heart actually aches from pain when I see her on the show. I dont want to see the show anymore...and neither do my friends anymore.

If Donald Trump thinks keeping her is good for tv (like negative attention), he's so wrong. I have not seen one person who likes her and he's doing a lot of damage by keeping her week after week, when as a project manager she's messed up continuously.

    she is DISGUSTING.

How can you sit there and host a show on business etiquette and careers and have her there by choice?? She is a poor excuse and a horrible example for a business woman. and Thursdays show made it more clear. when you are in the business world, you do NOT bring out things about someones personal life. Especially judging how someone fathers thier children? that was absolutely ridiculas. I dont even want to watch the show b/c she is still on it, which was obsurd from the beginning that she was even on it!! not to mention trump has fired someone before even though thier team won. That should have happened and the show should have been done with Omosoro and let her go on to do something else, anything but being in the business world. There is no room for liars, and poor examples for business woman.

"The Mane" featured one of the most vile and indespicable performances in the history of this show.

Omarosa (hopefully misspelled) displayed a total lack of character, quality, professionalism and class. It's one thing to want to win, perform well, and demonstrate your abilities and it's entirely another thing to demonstrate a total lack of these qualities.

Her behavior was inappropriate. She embarrassed herself, the show, the network and this country.

As a former military commander, and a successful businessman who knows how to deal with people, I would fire her.

I admit that Mr. Trump did the right thing to not fire anyone on the losing team, however, he has made a habit of bending the rules over the hitory of the show and he should have terminated Omarosa for this terrible display of bad judgment.

2/14/08 - (Valentine's Day???) Stuff a dirty sock in both Omarosa and Piers' mouths (to match their words) gag them and tie them to a chair in the same room, splice all of their individual crappy words and actions together, play them over and over again for at least 24 hrs., longer if necessary, until they come to the realization of what total jerks they both are and vow to change their way of thinking, talking, acting and being! If that didn't work, there's no hope for them changing into better people. Give them some some good books and CD's on how to be positive people and how to get along with others in life. The best thing my son ever said about me was that I could get along with anyone, and that doesn't mean being a door mat!

    5.0
    "Mediocre"
The entire episode must be reviewed and a serious decision made regarding AMAROSA. There is nothing wrong in not liking who with whom you work. The most important element is WORK.

Amarosa in previous episodes has been aloof, curt, rude, and very spiteful with some agenda. Since she has successfully eliminated her female rivals, she has now landed on Piers' perch and may find herself face legal charges for her comments concerning his family and his ability as a father.

She has clearly gone way over the top and must have her wings clipped severely. Heretofore, The Apprentice has shown team work and rivalry at its best. Never has there been such a display as tonight. What is worse is these celebrities are striving for their own favorite Charities. How sad and embarrassing it must be for the Charity of Amarosa.

Her constant approach toward Piers, taunting him, scoffing at him, and all the while he is trying to get away from here to avoid a serious result. I have no doubt had Amarosa been a man, Piers would have kicked his ass big time. I admire any man who takes a firm stand to protect is children and family. That is our responsibility! Mr. Trump set the stage for this final showdown as it was both obvious and well known there was discord between Piers and Amarosa.

Review of earlier episodes will reveal her snake like attacks on team members she had sucked up to and then dumped on. Not once but several times this has happened.

Mr. Trump set this final stage when he mixed up the teams.

That having been said and done, HYDRA still won. That tells us all the strength of HYDRA was not ill affected by this shake-up. One point worth mentioning is Amorosa, brought NO money to the table. In spite of the chaos, the THREE TEAM members pulled off the victory. Steven Baldwin displayed clear proof of hypocrisy and in a number of instances during this competition. The High Morals he heralds are more often than not refuted by his participation in drinking while Wielding the Bible claiming to be such a reformed and devout Christian. If he is an example of a Christian, then clearly I am Agnostic or Atheist. Fortunately the freedoms in the country include freedom of religion and Mr. Baldwin is entitled to believe however he chooses. I find it his portrayal offensive to the entire Christian Community throughout the World. Actions do the loudest speaking, and his suggests he may be servive another God, as the God I serve is both loving and forgiving....attributes of His teachings.

Mr. Trump, I admire you and over the years learned much from observing you from afar. I have used some of your style and approach to getting developments fired up. Due to the Oil Glut and the slump in housing in the mid 80's, I was not able to carry my project to fruition. The concept is still very viable and though I am much older, I may attempt to wake this sleeping project. Just prior to the major effects of the "glut" I had projected that with in 5 years, I could become Fortune Five Hundred and Fortune 100 within 12-15 years. Enough of that. I do want to thank you for an impressive example in business. We all make mistakes and would change certain things from our past if we could. What I have enjoyed observing you, and now you program is the learning! Lessons can be learned for these shows and from observing you, if only people would pay attention and not be so intent on being self important. When you are good, Good speaks for you. When you are successful, success speaks for you. "Ask and it will be given to you! Seek and you will find! Knock and the door will be opened!" A longstanding truism. One of my own:"an opportunity missed is an experience unrealized" To be successful the two most key elements are Timing and location.

Thanks for your example. I have learned and continue to learn from you though we have never met.

    7.0
    "Good"
It's funny how the show is called the Apprentice. I mean the word "apprentice" conjures images of someone actually teaching somebody else something but what has Donald actually taught any of them?

Thinking back to the first season when the Apprentice was still a mystery, the people on the show didn't really know what the heck they were getting themselves into. They might have asked...

Is THE Donald going to let us run parts of his company? Is THE Donald going to allow us to work with him side by side?

Is THE Donald going to make us rich and famous?

    No.

It ends up that most of the tasks are stupid, pointless and insignificant. Sure they could use the excuse that the contestants have to prove themselves by starting from the basics but I just think that's a lame excuse.

After all, great television is made when you see these otherwise very able professionals in their fields put into very stupid tasks that they're probably not very good at and make a fool of themselves. Most of people that went on the show were very successful in their own ways and in their own professions. Obviously they're going to be good at what they do but getting them to do things like sell hot dogs? Well, I'd like to see the Donald do that or any of those equally foolish tasks before handing them out.

When the contestants are apprentices, the Donald is the master. So the master must demonstrate before apprentices can learn.

Go Donald. We're waiting for you.

Every year, Trump chooses 18 contestants out of thousands who apply for the competition through audition tapes. these contestants are different in race, gender, orientation, background, occupation, etc. they are then split into two teams and work with those teams for the rest of the job interview process. Trump then selects a task for the competition, where each group is trying to outdo the other. the group then elects their own project managers who head the task. the task can be advertising, creating, supervising, etc. trump usually gets two executives from the company that sponsors the event to judge, etc. the winning team gets a special reward, such as a fancy dinner w/ trump, basketball shooting with the lakers, etc. the losing team mopes around for a day and then is brought to the boardroom, where trump fires the weakest contestant on the team. arguments in the boardroom can go on for a long time, tempers flare, but the winners are very strategic in the boardroom and speak only when necessary, etc. the apprentice needs to be well-liked, smart, creative, strategic, supervisable, yet powerful enough to lead a project.

The Apprentice is one of the best reality series ever made. Donald Trump is a great part of the show and really gives the show that "billionaire" feel to it. The contestants are for the most part interesting and its fun to see how they disagree, each has their own idea ect. In Every episode, Donald Trump gives you some business advice that can be helpful. It's a shame that the show has much less of an audience than when it first started (about 4 million compared to 16 million when the series first started). The show however is definately worth a watch. "Your Fired!"

Seasons 1 to 3 of The Apprentice were amazing. They were so intriguing that you couldn't help but catch every episode. There was just the right amount of business, humor, and drama to keep you entertained each week. Once the fourth season began, it became clear that the show was losing it's magic. The tasks were not as good and the people were not as smart or interesting. Once the last season began it was clear that Trump was trying anything for ratings, and failing miserably. The whole "losing team sleeps in tents" thing was the dumbest idea I'd ever seen. Luckily, I'm not the only one who thought so. I'm glad we got to see 3 good seasons and hopefully they will not continue with another season.

  • Peps do jobs and try to be the apprentice

    9.8
    "Superb"
The Apprentice was a reality television show that originated in the United States on NBC. Billed as "The Ultimate Job Interview," the show depicted a group of 15-18 businessmen and businesswomen competing in an elimination-style competition for a one-year, $250,000 job of running one of host and executive producer Donald Trump's companies.

The first season aired during winter and spring of 2004. The Apprentice is produced by Mark Burnett and real estate magnate Donald Trump, with Trump as the host. The premise of the show is to conduct a job talent search for a person to head one of Trump's companies. The position starts with an introductory one-year contract with a starting yearly salary at six figures ($250,000 USD to be exact, roughly about $4807.70 USD per week assuming a 52-week work-year). The show led Trump to become known for his fateful catch phrase, "You're Fired!" The contestants live communally in a suite at Trump Tower in New York City and the boardroom showdown is with Trump and two of his associates (usually Carolyn Kepcher, Former Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for the Trump National Golf Club, and George H. Ross, Executive Vice President and Senior Counsel, The Trump Organization). Season 6 saw the show move to Los Angeles. On May 14, 2007 NBC announced the show was not on its fall 2007 schedule, but that a decision to cancel or renew it had not yet been made. On May 19, 2007, Trump announced that he was "moving on from 'The Apprentice'", effectively ending the series. [1]

I've been an Apprentice fan for as long as its been on the air. This year has to be the absolute worst year of the show. I hated the whole living in tents thing. I hated that they kept the same Project Manager week after week if they won. This year dropped the ball. I will probably watch it next year, but if its the same thing, I will probably not.

I know that they like to change the rules of the reality show to spice it up, but this is a job interview. I don't remember living in tents qualifies you to run a business.

    "Mediocre"
I watched the first season. It was new, it was novel, it was fairly interesting.

As Season 2 progressed I largely stopped watching it as I lost interest, only to tuned into the finale to see who won. Now its becoming a mess with people who are mostly self absorbed jerks who would sell out their mother to win and whom I wouldnt hire to run a shoe shine stand. I see clips now and then on "The Soup" and that is enough to know I made the right decision not to watch it any more. I think the reason he fired "Mr. White Trash" was that alot of people call the Donald that. Survivor is another show I watched the first couple of seasons then tuned out as it seemed like "been there, done that".

In the end this show is about "The Donald" and his talent for self promotion, and not much else. .............Donald..... "YOU'RE FIRED !!!!"

    DO YOU AGREE?
