EDIT
Task: Selling Hot Dogs
AIRED:
Fourteen new celebrities begin the journey to become the Celebrity Apprentice. The celebrities divided up into men versus women. The men called themselves Hydra, while the women called themselves Empresario. The first task involves selling hotdogs on the streets of New York. Hydra made more money for the win. The money made by both teams went to Project Manager Stephen Baldwin's chosen charity. Empresio, meanwhile, faced the first boardroom of the season, where Playmate Tiffany Fallon was fired.moreless

  • I was really disappointed in the new show. Why bring back Omarosa?? Is she a star in Donald Trumps mind? She should have been the first to go home.

I guess I will watch a couple of more shows but not very good season in my opinion. Gene Simmoms maybe fun but the calls he made did not all pan out. He called a few rich people to come and buy hot dogs for a good cause. I really liked the women's team Mary Lou is a good pick, smart and sassy. On the other hand Nadia did not say one word that I heard. The ladies were pretty quite. The loud mouth of the group of course Omarosa. The men did not like her at all, especially the Engish guy.moreless
  • Celebrities undertake the extreme job interview with the Don in the name of charity!

    7.0
Let me start off by saying that I am not a fan of the Apprentice. In all honesty, a reality show based on one person deciding who they like the best is hard to repeat again and again. Add to that a bunch of young, whiny, "I wanna be rich" opportunistic sycophants who constantly cut each other down and clamber over top of each other to reach the top, and we get an hour of nausea.

This season, however, brought me something else. Having celebrities compete for their charities was intriguing, and a refreshing spin on the show. This episode introduced us to 14 celebrities, hand-picked by Donald Trump himself, who would compete for something or someone other than themselves. A nice change, even if there are a few of the "celebrities" that left me going "who are they?"

Despite this, however, it still amazes me as to how self-centered some of these contestants can be. Whether it's Omarosa (Amarosa? Ponderosa?) volunteering to be team leader, or Piers Morgan never having enything nice to say about anyone, makes me shake my head sadly. what this episode did do for me, which is something that few episodes of the Apprentice that I have watched were able to do, is make me interested in the rest of the season. I'd like to see how Mary-Lou Henner, Trace Atkins, Lennox Lewis, and the others interact and compete. It will be interesting to see some of these big shots get put in their place (look out Piers, Gene, and the big Sopranno guy!) by Donald, but at the same time that seems bad of me to be looking forward to that. It will be interesting, to say the least, and that is something that this show has needed for a long time.moreless
  • Like, is this for real? This was actually watchable!

    8.0
After I stopped watching The Apprentice after season one, I started watching the show again last year... It was really bad. but still watchable - some of those contestants were fun to watch, and my favorite won...

When I first heard about the celebrity edition, I was like, my God, this can't get any worse! But it's actually good! I have no idea who half of these people are, yet I still find them really amusing. Except for Omarosa - my God, that woman makes me so angry. She thinks you're a celebrity if you show up on reality shows all the time like a moron... "Is there like a word for successful woman? - Omarosa." Oh. My. God. And we all know Trump isn't firing her any time soon, because she's the reason a lot of people are watching because she always starts the fights...

And I am so glad Piers Morgan is on the show too... Yes, he's a lame Simon Cowell wannabe, but he's the only one who can really make fun of Omarosa and drive her crazy... And he's hilarious!

I look forward to watching The Apprentice this year since the strike left us with such a small number of shows... Hopefully, this isn't the last season... And yes, hopefully they'll go back to normal contestants next year XDmoreless
  • After last year's disaster, this was actually watchable.

    9.5
Omarossa what a total loser, she still has no clue on how to be successful. She turned down the idea of calling their celebrity friends did everyone forget that.

A bad location had nothing to do with why they lost. They lost because of a bad leader. The comment made by Vincent Pastori about Omarossa was right on the money, she is like a cock roach and you cannot kill her, and boy did Donald make another blunder.

This is not the first time he has picked the wrong person, even to the fact of making two choices for the Apprentice that were not deserved in my opinion.moreless
  • Apprentice collides with celebrities!

    9.5
This is the first episode I have watched The Apprentice and that is mainly because of the mainly because of the celebrities. I was impressed with the celebrities that took part in the show. The first task was a good one especially because it involved food which was definitly a keeper for me! I think we can clearly see the team that is more people friendly which was Girl's Team. I was surprised how Piers Morgan turned down people who were giving 5 dollars for a hot dog. Going back to Girl's team it was neat to see how they just gradually increased the price and people went along with it. I was surprised to see multiple people donate over $100 for a bottle of water then another person give $5,000. It wasn't enough though and the Guy's picked up the win over the Ladies.moreless
