The closing sequence of this episode sees Steed and Mrs. Peel race into the sunset in go-carts.
Steed remains blasé about Mrs. Peel's method of escape.
Steed: How did you get out?
Mrs. Peel: I knotted some sheets and climbed out of the window.
Steed: Oh, that old thing.
Mrs. Peel: Well, originality didn't seem important at the time.
Mrs. Peel and Steed appraise the members of the Danger Makers Society.
Mrs. Peel: A bunch of schizoid, paranoid, psychopaths.
Steed: And incidentally, dangerous.
Steed gives Mrs. Peel some advice.
Mrs. Peel: I'm looking forward to meeting this Major, how do I play it?
Steed: Show him your bumps.
Mrs. Peel: Uh?
Steed: He's a part time phrenologist.
The pseudonym Steed selects when he joins the Danger Makers Society is Bacchus. This aptly chosen name is the Greek God of fertility and wine.
When Steed and Mrs, Peel discover Lamble's body, they find some white feathers in an envelope. White feathers symbolise cowardice and this comes from the belief that a gamecock with a white feather in its tail was a weak fighter.
