When all the kids finds out that Charlotte is in love with Buddy, and the press finds out that the superstar kid is in town the Baby Sitters Club girls have a crises on their hands. Who is spying on the babysitters, and why? They go on a hunt to find out who the secret teller is, and in the end they find out that the information came from an unlikely source.moreless

2/5/90Claudia brings a pair of earrings over to Kristy's house but unfortunately the jewelry disappears while she is there. What should they do? The Baby Sitters Club is on the case. The BSC have their own theories about who took them and why. The suspects are Julie, the Thomas household's helper or Karen, Kristy's little stepsister. In order to find who really stole Claudia's jewelrey, the baby-sitters devise a plan to track down the culprit. Suspicion runs high as they trail Julie downtown after seeing her with the earings on and accuse her of stealing them, not knowing that Karen gave Julie the earrings for her birthday.It turns out Karen had been holding onto other people belongings.
