  • Wow...It was actually hard to watch this

Ok, so, yes I read some of the spoilers about this show, so I knew it wasn't going to be pleasant. But, wow, this show/episode was actually hard to watch. I know 'The Bachelor' doesn't have the best track record, but this was a new low. Jason, do you have a brain in your head or a heart in your chest? Come on! I don't care if you and Melissa had already broken up, you don't go on national TV, break up with your fiancee & then star making out with another girl within 30 minutes. That is beyond tacky! Supposedly Jason has been "hurt" before...If that was true would he have done that to Melissa? Whatevermoreless

This episode took the entire season of The Bachelor and basically made me hate it and regret the time I spent watching it...and not at all for the reasons that some may think. No it's not because I was a Melissa supporter and was devastated by Jason dumping her for Molly. Though I did love Mel, I liked Molly too, and could even see the "chemistry" they had, so i understood that he would probably pick her...

It was because over the course of this season of the Bachelor, Jason had stood up to numerous challenges of character, and had I thought shown that he was a relatively good guy. I actually liked him! He got rid of all the right girls at all the right times (except I wish he would never have had to get rid of Steph and Jillian, BUT I understood why...)...He showed class. But then he let Dianna get in his head. If he had chosen Melissa without talking to Dianna I think it would have been a different story, BUT, I think what she said to him really got to him. He went with her advice, and then ended up regretting it later. OK, so that's his choice, his life. However, for him and ABC to cause Melissa to be publicly humiliated is another thing. All signs of character and class he had shown over the course of taping went out the window the minute he allowed his fiance to be subjected to public humiliation for network ratings. Break up in person, tell her whats going on, and then pursue Molly however you see fit...By all means, follow your heart, just do it with some class :-)moreless
