  • In this episode, DeAnna went to the hometowns of the four guys left. First she saw Jesse, then Jeremy, and then Jason. Last was Graham, who bonded with DeAnna at his high school but then closed himself off to her at home and so was tearfully sent home.moreless

I was sad to see Graham go! I have been rooting for him since I started watching and had hoped it would make it into the final. I was so happy to see the first half of the date, but then Graham had to get all closed-off and ruin everything. SIGH. I don't blame her for sending him home after he acted on their date, but I was very sad to see him go. I don't really see it working out with any of the other contestants, although I do agree with the other reviewer that the Jason date was the best one.moreless
  • Well, the hometown dates lead DeAnna to keep all of the bachelors with a name beginning with [J].

    Well, the hometown dates.

I thought Jesse was really cool, bringing DeAnna snowboarding and she definitely did so well. Jeremy's motorcycling with her looked totally awesome as well. However, I was not touched by Jeremy or Jesse's father crying in front of DeAnna. I thought that Jesse was still not as adventurous on a relationship level, and it is true that Jesse does not seem like the type to have three kids any time soon. Jeremy may be perfect and all, but his family didn't seem all that eager and Jeremy himself, and his very neat apartment, just didn't seem to suit DeAnna's slightly imperfect, slightly wild side.

On the other hand, I loved every moment of Jason' hometown date. The moment he and DeAnna joined his son, Ty, and the moment they left the cute little boy, both were so emotional and touching. I loved Jason's whole family, and it certainly looked like their family was the most welcoming towards DeAnna. It looked the most pleasant, and I'm rooting for him right now.

Graham was utterly despicable. First of all, I thought basketball was a really lame date. It was probably just a chance for him to show off in front of DeAnna. I don't know about anyone else, but I have never heard of a husband-to-be and wife-to-be playing basketball together. Graham was so closed up all the time, and I think that he has some serious issues that really need be sorted out before he can ever go off and date someone else. I definitely was disgusted at him after the rose ceremony. I'm not that excited to know what was in his goodbye letter. I think the fact that a goodbye letter even exists just shows that Graham has very little self-confidence deep inside and didn't expect himself to get married in the end.

I think DeAnna made the right choice. Let us wait and see what happen next episode.moreless
