  • The most action oriented episode in this show so far.

    7.2
Penguin only hates one person more than The Batman, and that's Bruce Wayne. Since he can't defeat The Batman, he'll just sabotage Wayne's life by invading his home and stealing his valuables. Little did Penguin know the two were one in the same, and robbing Wayne means a fight with Batman. Unfortunately though, the situation gets tense as camera reporters who are interviewing Bruce Wayne are present in the situation. Luckily, Alfred helps out in the situation.

The action here is more abundant compared to previous episodes, and the innovative ways technology is incorporated in the physical fighting is really unique and eye pleasing. Unfortunately though, a little too much sugar could really spoil you. "Bird of Prey" crossed that fine line of too much fighting and not enough substance. Still a good watch, but don't be expecting anything huge.moreless
  • The Penguin kidnaps Alfred in order to steal the television spotlight from Bruce Wayne.

This episode was a bit of a shock to me. Afterthe brilliant introduction of Scaface, and the return of the Joker, I thought that this series could only climb higher.

It seems I was mistaken as we are treated to what is basically a rehash of the Penguin's first episode, "Call Of The Cobblepot".

With no new surprises, this episode ultimately fails.

It's still a good enough piece of entertainment, though.
