  • Above average

    7.5
It's good to be consistent, but when it's just average or around there, you'd wish that it improved at least a little bit. So far The Batman seems to be settling for this really average output. This one explored the idea of having Gotham City's three most dangerous criminals; Riddler, Penguin, and Joker, work, or compete each other in turf wars to see who controls Gotham by means of unmasking Batman. This episode actually took one from the original Adam West Batman, except with less story. Overall though there wasn't really anything stand out about this episode; it was just very average.moreless
  • The Joker, Penguin and The Riddler battle for control over Gotham City, and the first one to unmask Batman claims Gotham City!

    9.9
What a great end to the second season! Night and The City delivers and bounces the series back again after a couple of lousy episodes. The Joker makes his 5th apperance this season making him the most used villain of the season and the series. (9 times total) The Penguin also makes a close second making a grand total of 3 this season and a total of 6. The Riddler also makes a comeback in this episode. This version of Riddler is one I enjoy. His voice is very creepy and great at the same time! Overall a great episode and great close to the second season.moreless
  • The most wanted criminals on Gotham City make a bet to see who will be the Crimelord of the town. The price? Got the Batman mask!

It's a great episode with many action but the real reason of that this episode is a 10 it's the first appearance of Commisioner Gordon on the series and the first time that the Batsignal is light on. Also, one can take a hint that Barbara will be on the series since she is mentioned.
  • Amazing 3-on-2 Plus, first look at Commish and batsignal

What a great episode! It starts off when Joker and Penguin are doing an awkward paintjob to Gotham. RIddler joins in with a deal that whoever unmasks batman gets gotham. The other 2 accept. After that, Rojas figures out Yin's partnership with Batman and holds her hostage to lure him in. The ending with a 3-on-2 battle was cool. This last episode gave many hints to the next season. Including the part when Yin and Batman are talking.

Yin: What do you want me to do?

    Batman: Stand Guard.

Yin: Ugh, I thought I was your partner.

Batman: But your not my sidekick.

This gave into Batgirl's appearance. Also Commish finally shows up! He makes Batman an ally to the police force and uses the bat-signal. AN astounding episode. 5 thumbs up!moreless
  • It was ok . . .

    8.3
This is actually the only episode where I've seen the whole half hour. I'm usually interrupted, or something.

OK, the plot was pretty good. It was just how they went about it. In this episode, Joker, Penguin, and the Riddler make this bet. First to unmask the Batman wins Gotham. Nice start. But it sort of went downhill from there. Why put in the Penguin, and the Riddler? Wouldn't Joker have been enough? And even he wasn't all that great.

Anyways, somewhat disappointing. It would've been nice, but alas it never is just the way you want it. At least you finally meet Commisioner Gordon.moreless
