Show Summary

This very obscure cartoon from Leonardo-TTV (makers of Underdog) centered around two rock musician canines, Stringer and Tubby, and the wild publicity stunts they are placed into by their agent, Scotty. Two serialized episodes made up a story; in the middle was Klondike Kat and The World Of Commander McBragg. The Beagles aired on CBS for one season then moved to ABC and was retitled The Beagles And Tennessee Tuxedo. An obvious attempt to capitalize namewise on the Beatles (who already had a cartoon show on ABC), The Beagles actually did have an album out, released by Columbia records.
