All in all a pretty good episode. One thing did really irk me though.
Zoe\'s reference to \"Cro-Magnon showing a little leg for some mastodon stew\" kicks off a debate in class. However, oddly every bit of anthropological detail is wrong. They should have just lucked into something being correct. First \"Cro-Magnon\" refers to European early humans; mastodons were from the Americas. It is likely that meat was given in exchange for sex, but this doesn\'t fit the definition of manipulation. Richard chimes in with cro-magnon being the \"cock of the walk\" until a \"new model\" -- a Neadertal came along. However, Neadertal existed long before Cro-Magnon man. Cro-Magnon would be the \"newer model\". Professor Macklan corrects him in with a matter-of-fact tone declaring that \"Cro-Magnon man and Neadertal man never met.\" -- However, this isn\'t the case; the two species coexisted for many thousands of years. It\'s also worth noting that they mispronounced Neadertal in every usage. As the \'h\' in Neaderthal isn\'t pronounced, and the word has since been changed to Neadertal.moreless
