      • Thames repeated this episode on August 25, 1986.

      • Portions of "The Lover" and "Carmen" sketches, a small bit of the "Dibbles Health Farm" ending runoff sketch, and the jury quickie were cut from Comedy Central's mid-1990's repeat airings of this episode.

      • This show was taped on March 1, 1985.

      • Cyril Cross, Helen Horton and Jerold Wells (all uncredited) appear in the "Carmen" sketch. Susan Daly appears uncredited in "The Lover" sketch, Jane Leeves and Jenny Lee-Wright appear uncredited in a few of the quicky sketches, and Jenny Westbrook appears uncredited in the "Dibble's Health Farm" sketch, on the bench, sitting next to her daugher Jade. Ken Sedd also appears uncredited during the chase sequence in the "Dibble's Health Farm" sketch.

      • The outdoor scenes on the closing chase sketch "Dibble's Health Farm" were filmed at Thorpe Park in Surrey, England. The boat ride at the end was the "Magic Mill Boat Ride."

      • This show was issued on VHS in 1998 by HBO Video under the title "Golden Smiles" in the second Golden Laughter collection. It was also issued as part of the DVD set Golden Greats in 2001.

      • "The Lover" sketch was actually filmed during the production of the 1982 series (Shows 42 and 43), but aired for the first time on this show; it is for this reason that film cameraman Jim Howlett, who worked on the 1982 series, shared cinematographer's credit with Ted Adcock on this episode. An article on Jackie Wright in TV Times (UK) magazine in its Feb. 6-12, 1982 issue showed a photo still from this sketch. Also, the outdoor scenes from this sketch were shot in the same location as the "Female Vampire" runoff sketch from Show 42.

      • This was the last episode in the series to feature Jackie Wright; because his ill health prevented him from making any new appearances after 1983 (Series 14), leftover footage from production of Shows 42, 43, 44 and 45 were used in the last few episodes (except for Show 49); more detailed information elsewhere in the Notes section.
