Is their such thing as names in this show?. Because it's just: Papa Bear, Brother Bear, that does not make any relevant sense at all. I don't like the music at all but I do like watching this show. I haven't watched this show in a long time but I wounder when their going to air new episodes.

The naming system is a lot like Franklin and, like Franklin, can't be blamed on the people who made the show, but rather the original authors.

I agree whole-heartedly with agent_0042. Franklin and The Berenstain both don't have too many real names like Steve or Jack. Ahh, I just remembered another show where animals have there own animal names: Little Bear.

Yes, actual names do exist (in the world of the original Berenstain Bears books and cartoons, anyway): Grizzly Gus, Lizzie Bruin, Fred, Farmer Ben, Actual Factual (lol), etc. etc. But yes, it's one of a few kids' series that kind of asks you to suspend your disbelief regarding the strange naming of the characters.
