Goof: When Sergeant Dean tells Officer Kelly what he discovered near the pool was a still, a quick shot of a shocked Officer Kelly is shown. However, the shot they show is from when Kelly first met Elly May, which took place near the pool, not in front of the mansion, whic is where the two police officers were talking.

Elly May was making Granny get on the escalator at the airport, but Granny refused to. Right next to the escalator was a staircase, so why didn't Granny just make her way down the stairs before going to the escalator?
The roles reverse in the later seasons. In this episode, Jed wants to spy on Elly and Sonny, but Granny stops him. However, later on, Granny is the one who tries to spy on Elly May and her dates, and Jed has to stop her.

At their own mansion, the Clampetts do not know what the doorbell is. Whenever it rings, they cannot figure out what it actually is or where the sound is coming from. But when they go calling in this episode, they ring the doorbell at the first house and it makes a sound, much like their own. Why do they not know what it is at there place, but can figure it out at other places?
Elly says how she is playing football in this episode. But in a later episode, when Jethro is trying to impress Drysdale's new maid, the Clampetts learn what football is. But with Elly playing, they must have known before. So how did they forget?
