CRAWDAD, according to Fleming and Lucas:
When Jed and Granny see Elly May come down the stairs in her Gibson girl dress, Granny says that that is her sixty years ago. So at the turn of the century, Granny would have been around Elly's age, late teens/early twenties. Meaning Granny would have been born the 1880s and would now be in her seventies or eighties.

Some claim there was no turkey at the first Thanksgiving; however, in William Bradford's first-hand narrative Of Plymouth Plantation, he says of the first Thanksgiving that "...there was a great store of wild turkeys, of which they took many, besides venison, etc."
Elly has a strong love for animals, as she shows in her episode especially this one by trying to save the Thanksgiving turkey. So, why does she still eat meat? She befriends most of the animal types which she eats.
This is the first episode the tragic beauty Sharon Tate appears on.
