      • (Jethro and the Colonel charge each other and both get knocked off their horses)
Jed: They do a lot of that around here?
Faversham: No sir, not for hundreds of years.
        Jed: That figures.

      • Granny: These are the Clampett Commandoes, ready to lay down their life for your honor. They know everybody ain't comin' back.
Jed: Yeah, because everybody ain't goin'.

      • (The Colonel has seen Jethro drive up in the truck with Elly sitting on his catapult)
Colonel Dumbarton: Where's my brandy? Man needs a drop before battle.
        Vanessa: Sit down Daddy.
Colonel Dumbarton: I told you, the Black Knight's coming.
Osgood: Yes, yes. On his white charger.
Colonel Dumbarton: No, no, no, on a black truck!
        Osgood: A black truck?
Colonel Dumbarton: Yes. And the blighter's captured a fair damsel and has her strapped to a dunking stool!

      • Jethro: Uncle Jed, Granny! Get everybody together! We's gonna have a joust.
Jed: Oh, ya caught one, did ya?
Granny: All he ever thinks about is something to eat.
Jethro: You don't eat it. You fight it.
Granny: Well, you fight it and you clean it and you cook it.
Jethro: Granny, I'm gonna have a joust with the Green Knight.
Granny: Let him clean it and cook it! I got the War of the Roses to settle.

      • (Granny smells what's in the Green Knight's canteen)
Granny: Jed, if this is water, we gotta find the crick it come from. (drinks the brandy) Now that's what cha call water!
        Jed: You sure?
        Granny: Distilled water.

      • (Tetley tells Faversham he has seen Queen Elizabeth I)
Faversham: Tetley, have you been at the cooking sherry?

      • Elly: Jethro, you done pillaged my knight. He ain't in no shape to trough.
Jethro: I'll get ya another one.
(Jed and Granny lift the Colonel's helmet)
Jed: Elly, maybe ya had better let Jethro get ya another one.
Jethro: She can have this one too. He's the spoils of war.
        Granny: He's already spoiled.

      • (Both knights have fallen off their horses, and first one up is the winner)
Granny: One, two! (Whispering to Jethro) Get up Jethro. Three, four! (To Jethro) I'm gonna knock all the wind outta you. Five! (To the Colonel) Lie down Greenie; you're a sick man. Six! (To Jethro) You're gonna be sicker than he is. Seven! (To the Colonel) As a doctor I'm warnin' ya. Eight! (To Jethro) Jethro, I'm warning you! (Jethro gets up) Nine, ten! We won the War of the Roses! You all seen it!

      • Jed: You don't think nobody's gonna get hurt do you?
Faversham: If Master Jethro can survive the catapult, he can survive the Colonel.
Jed: Well uh, what about him? (points to the Green Knight) What kind of shape is he in?
Faversham: Mr. Clampett, the shape that he is in, I guarantee you he won't feel a thing.

      • (Granny is introducing the Knights)
Granny: And in this corner, appearing for the first time without his cannon, a man after you own hearts, as well as your livers, and other vital organs, the notorious yellow Knight. I mean the Green Knight.

      • (Colonel Dumbarton, the Green Knight, drinks some of his brandy)
Granny: What's that Green goomer doing?
Faversham: Knowing the Colonel Madam, I would guess he is fortifying himself for the fray.
Granny: Oh, well, as long as it's only water.

      • Jethro: Hail to thee, Green Knight.
Granny: Don't cuss him boy. Just fight him.

      • (Granny is working with members of the staff, preparing them for battle)
Jed: Granny, what's going on? Who are these fellers?
Granny: Granny's Guerillas. We got a sorry lot of rabble Jed, but I combed out the cowards. I was hopin' to come up with the Dirty Dozen, but all I could get was the Filthy Four.

      • (Colonel Dumbarton is drinking from a secret stash of brandy when Jethro flings over the wall, knocking the table over)
Colonel Dumbarton: Well, that's what I call a brandy with authority.

      • (Osgood and Vanessa leave Colonel Dumbarton because they think his Black Knight story is from a bottle of brandy)
Colonel Dumbarton: If I had you in India, I'd spread you on an ant hill. Blasted hippie!

      • Jethro: Then we gotta fight my way, the feudal way, with honor, bravery, and intelligence.
Elly: Okay. Good luck, brave, intelligent knight.
        Jethro: Giddy up!
        Elly: Jethro, you're on backwards!
(Jethro rides out the gate sitting backwards on his horse)
