Unaired pilot: have you seen it? Your thoughts?

    Hi


    Have you seen the unaired pilot? The very first version of the pilot, before Kaley Cuoco.


    I think we went near a real disaster (maybe not near, as the pilot was not accepted!). That was awful. First, it was way darker. Then, you realize how Kaley Cuoco is important. The previous actress was not good, and her character was wwaayy different. She was just here to take advantage of the boys, while the new Penny has true kindness for them and is just sweet.


    I think it's a bless it was refused!

    Actually, in the pilot Penny took advantage of Leonard when she asked him to bring her TV back from Kurt, it wasn't till later that she realized what she did was wrong and changed.

    It was way more a favor asked than taking advantage like Penny does in the unaired pilo

    The "unaired pilot" was totally inconclusive and had no edge at all. Sheldon being weird but being focused on large buttocks and having sex with colleague, drinking alcohol and dancing? Sorry, nope!


    However, I would like to point out that the show as we have it today (with every geek even Sheldon suddenly being in a relationship) steers into the same direction as the unaired pilot:


    Inconclusive and with no edge!
