Lots of awkward, lots of unrequited love, lots of bed bug references not made. This wasn't a great episode by far. It wasn't terribly entertaining. It was real in the long-distance relationship sense, but other than that, eh. Penny really should have gotten bed bugs from the chair, not rats, but I guess they're less prominent in California thanks to its heat.
Well, I will give them credit for trying something different today. Instead of parodying the things they usually do they chose to borrow cliches from past sitcoms like the loser friends who do a lot of gay things like their kissing today, and then an awkward attempt at phone sex, only tonight it was webcam sex.
I just do not find this show funny. Right now it is almost like we have outgrown this program. Been there done that feeling after all of the jokes.
Just like the Season 5 Premiere, I thought that this was a hilarious episode of "The Big Bang Theory". My friend and I definitely were laughing hard from start to finish when we both watched this episode together. Everything in this episode was just absolutely hilarious from start to finish. There is not one dull or lacking moment in this episode. Everything was just terrific and it's considered one of my new favorite episodes of this show. That part that definitely made me laugh so freakin' hard was when Raj and Howard were doing that gay kissing thing through some invention that they are testing. It was kinda gross but it was just so insanely funny that I can't stop laughing. Sheldon with his train was definitely very funny. Sheldon complaining about Penny's red couch that she found in the garbage was very funny and telling her to get rid of it was so funny. Raj didn't have a huge part but he was very funny in this episode. Leonard talking his girlfriend on webcam was very funny especially when the girlfriend's parents caught Leonard talking dirty to her. Penny and Amy running out of the house because there is a bug in the red couch was funny. The very ending with Raj and Howard getting the red couch and wondering who is the idiot that threw it out was hilarious. Overall, an excellent episode of "The Big Bang Theory". 10/10
As Turk would've put it: 'that's what I'm talkin' about ! '
This is what I love about TBBT: Sheldon interacting with Penny, Sheldon and his OCD and germophobia, Sheldon being right, Amy being way too excited about having a social life (granted, that also happened in the previous episode, but still...).
This episode was far better than the previous one. As part two of the two-part season premiere, this episode definetly gave fans what they had been waiting for all summer, and made up for how so-so the previous episode was. The Penny/Sheldon storyline was the best part of the episode, and although the Leonard/Priya storyline was a little bit boring and awkward, it got better as the episode went on. This was probably one of my favourite episodes of the series, to date.
