This was a great show. I had Pen-Pal I will always remember her name. She wrote me first this was in 1982. She was into sports. I often wonder what she is doing now?
  • A documentary that looked at the lives of children living in different countries and looks at their cultural differences as well. This show also did not use actors but real people.moreless

This documentary produced in association with ITT, takes the viewer on a travelogue to different parts of the world. The show begins with a theme song and children saying hello in different languages. You would meet different children in different countries. They would tell you where they lived, went to school, hobbies and activities they like to do. On a different episodes. You would meet a girl from Russia who is a accomplished concert pianist, a boy from Canada who is studying mechanical engineering, a girl from Italy who works in her family operated business etc.

The conclusion of the show before showing the closing credits has children saying goodbye in different languages and in the beginning and end of the show shows planet Earth looking like "The Big Blue Marble".moreless
