It's Time for The Big Record! and so opened every episode of the New York based music program. Sponsored by Oldsmobile, the series was hosted by singer Patti Page with Vic Schoen conducting the orchestra. Created by Lester Gottlieb, produced by Jack Philbin, Patti would welcome big name guests of the music and recording industry. Choreography was done by June Taylor and settings were designed by Gary Smith. The show was a mix of young and old performers joining together for a musical hour.
