      • This is the second episode that does not present its title at the beginning of the episode (the first one was 'The Odyssey of Jubal Tanner'). Edit
      • If you listen carefully, you can hear the voice of one of Disney's most famous villiains when Mother Callahan speaks. Eleanor Audley, who plays the Irish matriarch in this episode, was the voice of Maleficent in Disney's Sleeping Beauty. Edit

      • The fight between Nick and Callahan is an allusion to the fight between an American and an Irishman, played by actors John Wayne and Victor McLaglen, in the classic movie The Quiet Man. When each man fell down in the fight, a bucket of water was thrown on the fallen man, including him saying, "Thanks!" just like in this episode's fight. Edit
